My point was simply that JFF hasn't been any more impressive than Franklin against similarly talented scrub teams.

its not like he didn't prove himself last year or anything while Franklin was too busy taking himself out when he could have played.

Except for the fact that he won the Heisman and beat top ranked Bama last year. Where as Franklin was injured so we have no clue how he will perform as a SEC QB.

thats why Mizzou stunk it up last year.
we had an injured, worthless qb and o line. our OC needed to be replaced, or demoted back to QB coach only. DGB didn't break out. Henry Josey was not back. There are plenty reasons why we sucked last year, but that's not my point. I'm looking at this year. Our offense is looking good - huge improvement over last year already. Defense has some work, but with our offense on the up they should be fine.

I get that. But looking at this season alone, JFF hasn't looked anymore like heisman winner than Franklin. And I have the same sentiment towards A&M. I'm not buying into them this year until after next week.

You are really dumb.

worthless qb
Who is the subject of this thread about how great he is
Excuse us if we wait until he proves it on the field

he was worthless because he was injured and unable to perform last year. once again, i'm talking about this year.. not last.

Just no stop embarrassing the rest of us for pete's sake

I'm with you on that. James Franklin was a big recruit though. One of the best dual threat qbs. Now he's a senior and healthy and he's already looking better than he did last year. My point is that I'm expecting him to have a big year and people should start paying attention
And one comparable to the player to shatter the total yardage record for an SEC player? You're high, broski.

I think everyone knows about how he was medically cleared to play and just didnt want to

I think James Franklin could do that with a healthy, talented team. Will he be able to do it this year? Idk, probably not? but Franklin and our offense are already looking extremely improved from last year.

he declined cortisone shots because he wanted to be able to feel pain in the game and be aware of his limits that way he wouldn't end up being injured on a longer term. I don't necessarily agree with his decision, but I'm damn happy that he is 100% this year.

Mizzou's offense is fricking weird. QB never drops back he just stands there.

This had some bad moments last year with our o-line collapsing, but our O is designed for Franklin to stay in the pocket. He did a pretty good job getting out of the pocket and making plays against Toledo when he needed to. Yes, I know it's Toledo... but still looked good.

i thought bama's qb was some delusional douche named finebaum
Now that was a dumb statement. Everyone knows that finebaum owns the bama franchise. In his playing days he was rudy's backup at Notre Dame. He also was in charge of carrying Theisman' jock.
And you call yourself a football fan.

lulz. In the SEC over a year now and still obsessed with Kansas. Also Franklin is not as good as you think he is.
