They used NFL footballs at LSU's pro day. There are videos and pictures of him catching said footballs. If he had dropped 10 of the 50 that were thrown to him, there would have been all kinds of articles about it.

I mean to be fair, it's pretty crazy that the NFL uses an entirely different ball, and nobody ever considers that that might present a challenge to guys who have been using a college ball their whole career up to that point - especially QBs
