So you think if Austin played for Alabama he'd be behind hurts?

So if he is the most deserving, then why do you think that he doesn't deserve it?

Rest of SEC teams ought to be embarrassed - they let Alabama just take everything from them. A true freshman QB that didn't even start the season taking the offensive player of the year? Are your teams even trying any more?

Add in that we not only started a TF 18 yr old QB, but totally inexperienced RBs, a TF on the oline and a new center. If there ever was a year, THIS was the year to snatch the SEC away from Bama.

He gets a lot of negativity on here for an undefeated true freshman with 3500 yards and 33 TDs.

I dont think its negativity but just people including his drawbacks. Yeah he had a good amount of yards and TD's , but he is also a turnover machine. Which bama can afford.

9 Ints
5-6 fumbles lost
6 fumbles bama recovered.

Cant find his exact fumbles lost, the one bama recovered were discussed this weekend on espn.

Either way have avgs over a turnover a game, at least one fumble a game.

Congrats to him. He's proven most of his doubters wrong and has steered his team to an undefeated record.

Well deserved IMHO

If Guice started this year everyone knows he would have gotten it. He got first team all SEC and second team all SEC as a backup lol.

Where is the negativity? I'd be interested to know how many of those yards took place after he completed a pass behind the line of scrimmage.

It's not like he picks apart defenses.
