Yeah, well, the odds are twice as great for Hurts as for Tua, so how much is this worth?

From your link.

Jalen Hurts would have been the favorite about 18 hours ago. But after getting benched for Tua Tagovailoa and watching the true freshman lead Bama to the title, you have to wonder who starts for the Tide in Week 1 next year. That said, don’t write him off just yet; he’s been consistently good and occasionally fantastic at the most-watched program in the country.

He's going to need to increase about 2000 more passing yards and 15-20 more TDs.

Wow, that's a nice problem to have. I wish we had 2 5* QBs on our roster with duel threat capabilities for 2018..............wait

I could support this if Zamir White hadn't tore his ACL. Dawgs will have 2 dynamic slot backs in Swift and Cook and will be airing it out.

I doubt it. Michel was a dynamic slot type back and we quit throwing to him as a whole, and threw to Swift.

My guess is,
Swift runs as in Chubb
Hoyfield runs as in Michel.
Cook plays the old Swift role.

If White comes in 100% this changes.

I think so, too.

Right now, Fromm's the best bet, at least from the SEC. Tua looked incredible and, by all accounts, the the title game wasn't a fluke, but Fromm has an entire season under his belt and led his team to one OT away from a national championship. We have much more actual game-time data on Fromm than on Tua right now. This isn't a question of who is better or has the higher ceiling, it's just a question of empirical evidence available to us on 1/11/18.

Fromm should be a favorite for the Heisman, especially after this season and what he’s done for UGA. We’ll see what happens with Tua, he’s definitely promising and has a bright future ahead of him at Alabama.

The styles match up in your scenario. I just meant that Swift would be considered the lead back. maybe it is just me, but I considered Chubb the lead back.

But, yes, Swift's tools match up better to Michel.
I just think we are not going to throw it to Swift as much as we did this year. I was disappointed we didn't use Michel as much throwing out of the backfield. Those two were a LOT of fun to watch, though, weren't they?

Alabama, nor Georgia throws enough to justify putting any money on either of their QB's. They will have better stats than this year, but neither will approach 3,500 yards and 30+ TD's.

How about Swift runs as Swift?

White and Cook will run as themselves as well?
