Please use critical thinking. I didn't say they were specifically doing this for a college football game. If you watch the video, there's a rendering of the Florida-Georgia game there. Clearly, they're trying to keep the game there. They're also trying to host more concerts and USA soccer games.

Munson was joking about the girders bending at the Gator Bowl as far back as ‘75 and again about needing to tear the damn thing down in ‘80.
