He's all USCe. It's Marcus Lattimore part 2. Auburn fans thought they had a legit shot at him.
This guy is going to USCe

FSU or USCe
Some people may be shocked.

We have 2 current players and 2 commitments recruiting him (The Dixons).
Basically there are 5 of the top defensive players in the state - Clowney, Philip Dukes, Lateek Townshend, Gerald Dixon, and Gerald Dixon Jr. - and they are all pretty much a package deal. The latter two have already committed, so unless something changes, at least 2 of the other 3 will be Gamecocks.

sadly; I think you might just be right. Free shoes U is getting quite the haul this year.

I don't think they get him, but I think that's who it comes down to. Eddie "the bagman" Gran is tearing it up for them.

If those 5 are a package deal, then look out. Not to mention throwing in Kelcy Quarles.

I'd give up Quarles for Dukes.
Any word on who of our current commitments that we can expect to flip?

I'd wait to see if he visits or not before I say that... we have a strong pull to SC boys

FSU has a better chance than Bama or LSU.

I do expect Clowney to be a beast in the SEC, just not next year. He needs a year in a big time S&C program and a year of coaching to learn to use his hands. Right now he is playing on pure speed.
That being said, I do think LSU would be the best fit for his game in the first two years. The third year he will have the strength to go with the rest of his game. He is a 3 and out player where ever he goes.
USCe - 55% (close to momma) / UofAL - 30% / LSU - 15%

LSU is not in the picture at all. It's down to 3 schools and he will only go to one of those 3 schools.

That FSU talk is just more smoke .... But IMO the NCAA should be sniffing around that program a little. They might find a few surprises

He has a genuine interest in them.
If you dig enough around any major program you'll find some dirt to one degree or another.

I do think it is USCe or UofAL - two dog race with momma well in the lead. Of the two UofAL would be a better choice for his future but it is hard to say no to mom.
Still think LSU would be a better fit for him tho.

He has interest in FSU, bank on it. More interest in them than Bama and LSU. Any team with Eddie "the bagman" Gran is going to have dirt on it.

That argument might could have been made before the hiring of Chris Rumph.

That argument is being made right NOW.
