A show cause does not mean you can't be a coach. Do A&M fans not realize your own HC, Jimbo Fisher, recently got slapped with a 6 month show cause and still remained at A&M the entire time?

Oh, I don't know. He could still take a job if someone offered it to him though.
I seriously doubt anyone will do so before he gets whatever penalty is coming unless they have a really good idea what the penalty will be, and even then who knows. But there is nothing really stopping it from happening.

Gotta love how AU fans are too stupid to realize that you would have no National Championship in the 21st Century without hiring an OC that was one of the biggest proponents of the fastball offense. The changing of the clock rules in 2007 (ushered in by Mike Bellotti and Chip Kelly). That shite ruined football.

CTE rules, no blindside blocking, no horse collar tackling, no hitting a defenseless player, NIL , and unrestricted free agency transfer portal are what make it LESS FUN. The reason offenses are so potent today is because you can now have an abundance of these thin, route-running magicians who no longer have to stick their hands in there to risk their brains turning into jello. Bye bye 6’2 225 lbs hard-hitting free safeties (fun days of college football); Hello 4-2-5 base defense. We’re seeing more chess matches, as opposed to violent slobber knocker checkers.
