re: It’s very early, but I think Keelon is going to end up being the best Alabama QB ever.

So would AJ but I think even AJ will admit that Keelon brings way more to the table than he did. AJ was also a product of a great OL, WR group, and a stud RB backfield that helped free up play action. My pedestal will always have Bryce, AJ, and Namath at the top with a Ty Simpson what could of been if not for getting hurt last year as an asterisk.

Tua had way more talent on his teams.

This factor will make it hard to compare statistically. Alabama has solid college receivers but nothing like they had with Tua especially and Bryce Young to a lesser degree.

Bart Starr, Joe Namath, Kenny Stabler, Hurt, Tua, say hello. I agree the young man will be very good but that is a high bar. And I left out a few.

I agree he is very talented and will be a beast going forward, That’s why I say these games are fun but meaningless come playoff time. In 2 months from now all these teams will look different. Some due to getting better with experience and some due to injury. It’s why college fans have to adjust their thinking from the days of a loss being soul crushing. All that happened Saturday is that both Bama and UGA got better.
