It’s very early, but I think Keelon is going to end up being the best Alabama QB ever.

And I think a good portion of our fanbase agrees already. Kids got immense talent, and games like this last Saturday are only going to make him better. You could see how he settled down in the 2nd half, and he made an amazing play right before the controversial no-call with the scramble and delivery on 3rd down.
That GA game coupled with the rest of this SEC schedule could have Keelon actually end up outplaying Gunner by the time of the SEC Championship, if we get there.
Experience is the only thing he really needs because the talent is all there.

So who are your benchmarks? Bama has had some really good teams around some pretty good QBs so who is your #1 now?

The talent and potential are certainly there, but it's got to develop. Hopefully he learns from Saturday night and takes another step forward this weekend.

Watching him against State, I became a believer. He made play after play when he needed to.

I think pure peak talent before injury it’s Tua. But Bryce is right there, and I think most people view them interchangeably at the top.
AJ is probably my favorite though, but obviously doesn’t touch any of these guys on raw ability.
ETA: Keelon seems to throw the beautiful ball that Tua could, while also having that Bryce scramble and deliver point guard play. That’s why I think he’s going to end up better than both.

Tua looked a lot better when facing a good defense when he first started.

Joe Namath
Bryce Young
Tua Tag
Ken Stab
You may want to stop. Way to early for this nonsense

He’s crazy good. Going to be extremely scary when he gets some experience under his belt

Probably so, but I did mention that it’s extremely early. It’s just I think our whole fanbase is buying the hype because the talent is so obvious.

Dude is super talented for sure and seems to be a great kid. But let’s not forget the league adjusts and learns as well. Sellers was going to be the greatest so was LSU quarterback last year and the list goes on and on. The key is for him to be able to evolve his game as the game changes around him.
That’s the question that will take time to answer.

His ceiling is limitless but man he's only got 6 games under his belt, it seems so early to say stuff like this.
Bryce and Tua could do anythign and everythign on the football field. Make any throw and were mobile enough to really hurt you. How much better, if any, could Keelon be copmared to those guys? Like besides being a hair faster what does he do better than those guys? I'm not being rheotorical I honestly am asking bc I don't know.

Tua had way more talent on his teams.

He's going to be very good.

Bryce and Tua
Bryce = He's taller and can see the field better, has a stronger arm, and is faster and quicker than Bryce.
Tua = He's taller, faster, quicker, smarter, and most importantly, he's not made of glass.
