Losers talk about last year or next year. In my opinion this Bama team is better by 2-3 TDS a game than last year. Since my theory is just as valid as yours, Bama this year would beat LSU last year by two TDs. It’s like betting based on comparative scores you’ll be broke soon.

Similar teams played that are top wins for them.

I think it’s safe to say Auburn and Georgia were better last year then this year?
Texas am seems to have gotten better. But maybe the competition got worse.
Mostly everyone returned from that Aggay team from 19.
So conclusion: LSU beat a better Georgia team and Auburn team last year.
And blew out this similar Aggay team.
Now obviously Alabama would get a boost if they can beat everyone in playoffs. Assuming they did
They would add
Florida
Ohio state/Texas AM
Clemson/Notre dame
I don’t think that changes much. 19 LSU would still have more quality wins.

Judging by the length and breadth of the OP, the OPer obviously has come to the conclusion that 2020 Bama is much better than 2019 LSU could ever hope to be.

It doesn’t matter anyway you twist LSU will have the better wins no matter what they were ranked before or after played.

Um the length is caused by all the wins and awards and things accomplished by LSU in 19. Sorry about that.

You honestly don't see the difference? I'm not arguing for or against either team as being the best. I don't really care because it is all subjective anyway depending on what criteria you want to use.

If Alabama wins out and A&M and Georgia win their bowl games Alabama would, in all likelihood, have 4 Top 7 wins (in the final AP Poll).
So, again, no point in doing this right now. A million things left up in the air between now and the finality of the season.

2019 UGA was better than first half 2020 UGA. Now that JT has taken over at QB, I am not sure last years' UGA team was better. We had no WR last year. This we do. RBs are very good. Maybe slight edge to 2019 RBs.
