Uh yeah, gonna have to point out that no money was made from the textbook thing. NCAA investigated that. And I also want to point out, that it was the players taking advantage of a flawed distribution system. All the books were returned at the end of the year. That is not cheating
ahh dude, you do know that 1 player made a good ROI on bookgate right? 5 figures holmes....5 figures. Slive kept it on the down low and the NCAA signed off on it. So I have no problem mentioning this now.

No, no way are you bias.......sorry but u are wrong. Cam will win the Heisman, he deserves it. Auburn will beat Bama, with or without Cam. And Auburn will win the SEC and the NC......much better team than Bama.......

He paid his debt on the first reason. Pretty much was asked to leave the institution where he had received a scholarship to play football. Your first two have nothing to do with his performance on the football field this year. Is there alot of smoke around here? sure.
The first two reasons you give should have nothing to do with the Heisman balloting this year (IMHO). The last reason you give is nothing but character assassination of Cam.

It really is sad the extent that other fans are going to try to make themselves feel better. Driving records? Really? I have two speeding tickets, a couple of parking fines and countless other times I've been stopped. Dang, I guess I'm a dirtbag. I guess that would make probably 90-95% of the posters on here dirtbags. What does that have to do with character, and what does that have to do with his eligibility? NOTHING! But by all means, pull up everybody's driving record to make yourself feel important.
While you're at it, pull up my record from grade school to see how many times I was sent to the principal's office and how many times I broke curfew in high school. It will tell you how bad my character is.

Currently, Cam Newton is eligible to play football. As long as he is eligible, then I think the presumption of innocence (no hard evidence to prove otherwise) should prevail in the Heisman vote and any of this stuff should have no affect on the Heisman voters.
I do think he needs to keep the box it comes in though as eventually, he will be found ineligible to play. It's unfortunate timing but is it apparent that neither the NCAA nor the SEC are in any particular hurry to resolve this thing. So be it, we move on as though nothing is going on with Cam. He clearly is the best player playing this year. I would vote for him if I had a vote.
