Man, that sucks

Not a fan of LSU at all, but any health issue like that is never good.

Feel for him and his family.

Prayers sent to the Kragthorpe family. Parkinsons is a rough disease. I wish him nothing but the best as he fights this battle.

As I posted on another page - he hired "his guy" from Tulsa two weeks ago. I'm sure that was part of LSU's plan for this.

Chicken's thread states he isn't "leaving" just stepping down. Are we reading that correctly?

Most likely.

Apparently he is staying on staff and will remain as QB coach.

not sure, even if true (and I am a "believe when I see" dude), that he would need to step down. There is no reason that early onset of Parkinsons would preclude him from his job.

agreed, but I think Les knows who to select as OC if Krag does not coach.

I'm fairly sure we can kiss any chance we had of a BCS game this year goodbye though. You don't replace a coordinator 30 days before the season and still do well.
lolz, overreact much? you sound like HBT...

Nah, we're fricked and it's pretty obvious. Our offense will still be better than last years though.. our schedule is also much tougher.

How well do you think Auburn would do this year if Gus had to leave.. today, 30 days before the season begins.

Losing your OC with the toughest slate in school history ahead is a big fricking deal, man.

Prime time for non-LSU fans to enjoy first rate catastrophe syndrome as only our fans can bring it.

We've gone from a BCS contender to 0-13 because we shuffled our offensive staff

Auburn doesn't have the talent on offense that you guys do imo, they're getting it though....

Yeah, we have the toughest schedule I've ever seen and we just lost our offensive coordinator less than a month before the season starts. This is going to turn into a shite-throwing contest in this thread.

My take: we win 8 games.

We're screwed. I agree, I'd rather Billy G then Stud....frick!!

Why is BG better? Be specific. Do you attend practice? Have you played for either coach?

If you don't think losing the guy that was hired to design offensive game plans is a big deal then you're stupider than stupid.
