Stayed enrolled at Texas, never declared for the draft, never signed an NFL contract. By the rules put into place, you are in fact incorrect.
He was already deemed out of eligibility.
You don’t declare for the draft in that circumstance.
He simply went undrafted.

Hutson didn't declare for the NFL draft because he was, at the time, out of eligibility. He didn't have to withdraw from the draft because he didn't have to declare. In addition, Hutson was not picked in the 2026 NFL Draft. The Austin native was invited to participate in rookie minicamps with the Dallas Cowboys and Cleveland Browns, but he never signed a contract. He didn't join any team as an undrafted free agent and he did not appear on an NFL roster.

All I got from this is that he didn't declare from the draft and never signed an NFL contract. Thank you for echoing my statement.

His name is automatically entered into the draft, but he didn't declare nor is he automatically considered a "pro". Again, all of these are very different than signing with a team.

Declaring is for those who have eligibility left.
His name is automatically available for the draft.
He was in the draft.
The only difference is that he went undrafted.
A player whose eligibility is up declaring for the draft is on par with Michael Scott yelling, “I declare bankruptcy!”

Can you show us in the rules where they specify any difference between one legally binding agreement and another? Your boy signed a contract. Your interpretation of the rule doesn't mean shite.

Correct. It's the SEC's interpretation of the rule, and they agree with me

Correct. It's the SEC's interpretation of the rule, and they agree with me
Yet, y’all still have him on the roster.

The rule also does not specify this only applying to those with remaining eligibility. It does, however, require your name to be appropriately withdrawn to be deemed eligible to return. Hutson did not withdraw his name.
Again, people can interpret things however they like to make them feel better about something. But it comes down to what is in writing, and the SEC fricked up by rushing this and not thinking through the language.

Define this, because Sanky couldnt do it on the stand in court.
Whats a pro athlete? What does the 5 for 5 rule?

Did not declare for the draft. Did not sign with a team. No matter how many times you repeat yourself over and over, it will not change these facts.

Therefore, he is ineligible.

That's great for you and the SEC. The courts do not agree, and that is what matters.
With all sincerity, and from the bottom of my heart...
Go frick yourself.

Did not declare for the draft.
It is automatic.
