Well the defense better be able to put up at least 30 points then.

After watching that depantsing of Clemson I wouldn't bet against LSU in Oxford. There's going to be many tears under fake chandeliers.

I’m cautiously optimistic. I think Clemson will struggle to get bowl eligible and ole piss, no matter how shitty there team is, always gives us their best shot in Oxford

I think a lot of ppl are focusing too much on the roster lsu beat vs the team. This was a very poorly coached team. LSU had a solid opening but they aren’t as fast as Clemson made them look. Clemson has awful fundamentals, and play reactionary football think Miami hurricanes under Randy Shannon. When you don’t know where to go each place you lose tons of speed. Louisville would manhandle that ckemson team by three scores. I do think lsu looked better prepared for their opener tho.

I will say Blake has improved our defense every year. We did what you are supposed to do against someone you are better than. Time will tell but our defense was moving with a purpose.

It was the 1st game. Ole Miss will be the 1st true test.

And Baker doesn’t exactly have the best track record with a running qb. I’m most worried about that. Contain contain contain and push him to the middle of the field. That will be key

Running QBs have worried us for several years now. Hopefully Baker has the pieces in place to finally stop that.

The matchup I’m looking at is Leavitt v Ole Miss Defense…

Kiffin is going to try to hang 50 on Ole Miss.

It’s looking like a boom or bust scenario.

If last night was any indication, this won’t really be a matchup.

Leavitt is inconsistent as far as accuracy. He tends to warm up as the game goes on. But, so does Chambliss. It will be a dogfight.
