No. Just be realistic about your place in the SEC. Instead of running off coaches that are doing about as good as can be expected at such a school.

He was removed for gross misconduct and if an investigation was to be launched he could and would have been liable. Hell Mitch Mustain's mother would have probably sued the school and called the NCAA if he was allowed to stay. Him and his Mafia went after specific players for not being team players. While 8 months earlier he used the same high school coach and his players to save his job.

I was actually very excited to have Jim Grobe as our coach and was disappointed when he turned us down then Petrino came on board and we are very lucky to have him especially after what has happened with Auburn's search.

This nonsense crap you keep spewing about Arky will always be Arky. Well then you are a dam fool and do not know what you are talking about. Frank Broyles built an excellent program with more super bowl, ncaa championship, and d2a championship coaches having served under him than any other coach including your beloved Bear. From Barry Switzer to Jimmy Johnson the list goes on and on.

Nutt may be an excellent communicator, motivator and great game day coach but he lacks ethics, character, and moral values and these traits are very important for college football coaches and traits that I want my University of Arkansas head football coach to have...... and before you bash Petrino about the falcons incident he has been nothing but up front with Arkansas and their fans....

No doubt the Mustain debacle was a huge error on his part.

Ark is not a Bama, Florida, Lsu, Georgia in stature and never will be in the SEC.

Could an LSU fan make this statement as little as 8 years ago?

Is this a joke, or are you drunk, sheek?

Nutt's record against LSU has been decent, but c'mon man...

we are really going to be thinking this if he smokes us when we play. I am not talking smack until the game is done and we are victorious. Really, I believe all of us do need to move on.

What was on the front page of the Arkansas Democrat Gazette? Jack Crowe and JSU Nutt sacking ole Hootie. Our victory being right below this. I have moved on and so should all of us. It puts it into perspective as to how the two programs differ and how we are in a lot better position. Respect Houston and Ole Miss since he probably is the best coach that they have had in 10-15 years but I do not think it gains us anything by trying to destroy them down by losing to JSU. All these teams get hyped up to play D1 schools and what happened could have happened to any SEC team.

I know it makes it hard when Hootie makes comments and does things that utterly piss all of us off, but we should pay it no attention and FOCUS ON OUR PROGRAM.

I guess yesterday's loss by Old Myth show Nutt and you to be a pair of know nothings. We know our place and whether you like it or not the only thing that has separated Arkansas and LSU over the last decade was you having a little better over all talent and us having HDN.
He and his coaching staff did at Old Myth exactly what he was infamous for doing at Arkansas, trying to shorten the game, even against lesser opponents and playing not to lose, rather than playing to win.
I could list dozens of games in his decade LONG history with the UofA where he just blew the games and then turned around and blamed the loss on the team or even players, rather than step up and accept the blame.
Bobby Petrino will prove once and for all that "our place" will be determined by on the field play and NOT what it says on the front/back of our uniform.
Hey, just because your jersey says LSU I didn't see UNC lay down/bow down to your name, even though they had suspended 12 players and 9 of them were starters on their defense.

Mr K

Let me put it this way. If I'm hiring a coach and he's selling the school and fans a national championship and 10 years later is repeatedly trying to convince them that their expectations are way too high and they shouldn't expect anything better, I'm going to believe him (that he really believes that) and find someone who believes in higher expectations. He changed his position, not the school and fans. He would have never been hired in the first place, trying to sell that bill of goods.

Nutt convinced us to not expect anything better while he was at Arkansas. We're no longer in the way of his success.
