this is very true but you will need a passing game to beat us. We will give you the real passing attack test in a couple of weeks.

eh, Arkansas is a good team but neither LSU or Alabama will have to throw for huge yards to beat you. It's more about being balanced and minimizing mistakes. Both teams are deeper than you, particularly on the lines, so as long as each team can make the throws they need to make to extend drives, they will be able to win.

Arkansas has just lost too much between graduation and injuries to make a serious run this year IMO. I mean you're down to what, 12 guys who were regular starters last year? That's half the 2010 team you lost.

I see Arky putting up some yards through the air against us, but I'm not sure what you're expecting. The LSU secondary is loaded

I agree. Let's not overlook the Hogs. I think they are gonna have a thing or two to say about the West.

Petrino and Arkansas match up well against LSU. Petrino has a knack for out coaching mediocre coaches such as Miles. Finding those mismatches and letting his play makers work. I still think we will split one of those games Bama and LSU. Alabama and its D is a lot harder to work against than LSU's will be.

just saying

The deepest part of the Arkansas team is probably along the defensive line. I assume both teams will have to pass to beat Arkansas.

Down to? We have 19 guys starting right now and playing who started last year for us.

So you're saying Mallett, Davis and DJ Williams are the only 3 of 22 you don't have from last year's Sugar Bowl team? Do you really want me look up the roster and make you look like a complete moron re: your own team?

Both finished top ten in the final poll. Where was Arkie? Somewhere behind Nevada if I remember correctly.

But commence living off 2010. You're going to be doing it for the next decade.

LOL at you calling out someone for "living off" of a previous year. I would say about 80% of your posts on here in regards to bashing Arkansas (which is 100% of your posts) centers around you bringing up results from past seasons. Quit being such a hypocrite.

Petrino will find those mismatches against Miles/ LSU. YAC numbers will not be a problem for us. Alabama will be tougher since they have bigger D and O lines to work against and Saban is a very good coach. We have to have a consistent run game to get Bama which will be tough. Dennis Johnson coming back for that game will help but if he does not then it will be a tough game to get going.

Those screen/ space passes will not work against Bama. Wilson will have to carve up their D will down field stuff to move the ball and not make mistakes which in this league is very hard. Wilson will either rise to the top or become mediocre and throw a bunch of interceptions. We will know soon enough though.

Petrino is not in Miles' class. Not even close.

And before you :mercyknee: me, remember that Nutt is 2-1 against Petrino, so if you're going to look at only H2H, then by that logic the reverend is better than your boy as well.
