That never gets called on a Hail Mary, for ANYONE.
Agreed and it shouldn't.
What lost OM the game was scoring too quickly the drive before giving Miami plenty enough time to make another drive. Then again, I don't know if they could've chewed enough time off the clock anyway.
Either way, hell of a game and great performances by both teams.

It was PI but situationally, they don't call that. A bad throw didnt help either

Not a hail Mary and they called in the Ohio State Miami game back in the day.

If it's pass interference in the first quarter, it's pass interference at the end of the game. I get on Hail Marys they let more go, but that wasn't a bunch of guys bunched together for a jump ball. Receiver was in a 1 on 1 situation and was unable to go up for the ball. This didn't lose the game, even with the call we then have to score in 1 play from the 25, but it was PI

Cry me a river. You can’t complain about this and not be honest about how the Ole Miss DBs had fistfuls of jersey all night. The tape don’t lie.
Ole Miss only had 4 penalties called against them all game. Yet, there was blatant holding and pass interference in the secondary numerous times and wasn’t called. You can also look at several blatant holding calls that were missed that allowed Chambliss to extend plays.
Ole Miss didn’t get robbed at all. If anything the refs kept them in the game

It would have been hilarious if they threw the flag there. It would have been 2002 Miami-Ohio State Fiesta Bowl all over again.

Not a popular take, but the UM oline hooks and holds a lot.

Miami Tight end was a holding machine. Got called once but held every play
