this year isn’t even close to being on par with Recent GA qb’s. You will lose 4 games.

QB play last year sucked arse, and UGA still won 12 games.

Truth is, monken hand picked Daniels to run his offense. Newman struggled with getting his elbow up and seeing/throwing over the line to make the necessary throws for this type of spread.

Newman transferred in pre Monken.

Daniels, a 5 star qb from Mater Dei, is the only true freshman to ever start for USC.

This is what was always going to happen.

I love being a GA fan. We are entitled because we have some of the best athletes in the country raised on our great state, and feel like we can kick a$$ and compete with anyone at anytime. You see, we're not like all the other schools besides FL, where 95% of our roster is from GA. Our high school sports doesn't suck that bad like it does for most of the league, so we have a state pride thing going to. So yeah, we feel like we should win it every year, and it doesn't hurt my feelings a bit when you panty boys want to say 1980 or 41 years.

Hey if it helps you sleep at night tell yourself whatever you like.

Fact is UGA folks have been crowing about Newman since THE DAY he announced his transfer. To now say you are better for it.. well... it's like some LSU fans thinking Brennan will be as good as Joe Burrow...

As far as what was "always going to happen" how did that work out picking "Check down Fromm" over a legitimate Heisman caliber QB Justin Fields?

Shouldn't matter, we will still kick Auburn's arse.

Everyone said Fromm sucked but he still beat Auburn.

Was 3-1 against Auburn. Doesn't mean much but I guess but it's still a fun stat.

And water is wet.

You could have had ole Uga under center and Gus would have found a way to lose every game vs you guys.

And y'all can point to me talking about Fromm all you want. You are welcome for giving y'all some deflection. I understand you need it at this difficult time...

Interesting you didn't even mention the point of my post, but sure you guys have fun telling me Fromm's record vs Auburn...

Nevertheless it doesn't change my point.

Oh and 1980 wouldn't have quite the sting had y'all actually chosen the better of the QBs you had on the roster. You would have most likely won last year, maybe the year before.

And when I say won, I don't mean won vs a handicapped Gus. I mean it all.

I don't remember what the point of your post was. It was probably stupid.

This was the season following the departure of Sam Darnold.
At the time, Daniels only competition for the starting job at USC was a redshirt 3*.
He then tore his acl, lost his job to another 3* and failed to regain his job back.

I'm sure you'll be happy with his performance against the Louisiana-Monroes and Kent States, but this is the SEC.

Nobody pumps sunshine better and faster than GA fans - none. They never face reality. They are a train wreck right now at the qb position. But “they” will win it all, just ask them.

Hey wait... Didn't Daniels get beat out by a 3* freshman at USC?

Crap dude. If you are going to troll or set yourself up as somebody who knows something, at least do some research and get your information right.

He was injured and the other guy took over due to his injury. Here. Let me help you out since you so desperately need it:

Daniels then won the starting job at USC as an 18-year-old freshman and performed at a serviceable capacity in that role during a dismal season for the Trojans. He was set to take a significant step forward last season until he suffered the ACL in the team's season-opener against Fresno State. Kedon Slovis took over in Daniels' absence and grabbed a firm hold of the job in first-year offensive coordinator Graham Harrell's system.

CBS Sports

Wow. Advice: Research before trolling. It might save you some embarrassment. Take note of the Bama fan who said no other SEC team offered Daniels.

Actually, reality came when you claimed no other SEC team had offered Daniels and I showed you that your team had along with Texas A&M, LSU and Ole Miss.

Maybe you should take a reality check?

I am going to go with Todd Monkens opinion of JT Daniels over your uneducated opinion. Thank you though.
