LSU has three national championships since 2000 to the entire B1G's two.

A blueblood is someone who has been great for over a hundred years

Of course you wanna go back 100 yrs to define “blue blood”, hmm wonder why?

Could it be due to the fact that THE osu has won a WHOPPING 3 games by a combined 15 pts against SEC Schools since 1978. Since ur clearly not too bright ill even do the maths for you - Thats 3-15-1, which means uve won a whopping 15% of games played vs the Entire SEC in 45 years. FOUR 1/2 DECADES!!!

But you claim to be a BB?

Now that is funny. LSU is not a top 10 program ALL Times. Maybe this century but that's it.

LSU probably is just in the top 10 all time, though it could be argued. Don’t think you could go lower than 11th or 12th though.

This century LSU is top 5.

You don’t know much cfb history, do you?

I feel like being a blueblood is something teams who haven’t performed like Bluebloods recently bring up..you never hear Bama fans talk about this..but it did come up with the Sooners, Michigan and Buckeyes just before and after we beat them in playoff games. ND fans also brought it up before our two recent games.

1000% It’s a deflection tool from has been programs.

What are you referring to exactly? There’s no debate that prior to Skip coming to LSU, SEC BB was crap & only a couple of conf teams gave a shite about it.

Look at SEC BB now & compare it to B4 Skip came to LSU.

People can thank Ron Polk and Skip Bertman for helping make the SEC what it is in baseball today. You can agree to disagree...but you would be wrong.

Obviously he's talking about Arkansas track and Oklahoma's softball team.

The reason for this thread.

LOL, Bucki you're a f***** loser just like your program.

This may or may not be true, but there is absolutely no serious argument that NCAA baseball has ever been brought to the "national forefront" and, of course, no argument that LSU is responsible for doing so.

Teams that haven’t won in decades or only have one natty since the ‘40s are, by definition, not blue bloods (e.g., Michigan)

USC, Texas, Tennessee, Penn State, Notre Dame, and Nebraska are former blue bloods.

Clemson is on the cusp of making the team.

Blue blood is a worn out jargon term. Oklahoma, Ohio State, and Bama are the only blue bloods still producing great football in the modern day. And no matter how you want to spin it - being relevant in the last 3 decades when the sport is far more competitive is what actually matters.

The rest of the “blue bloods” are desperately living in the past and bringing up football from 60 years ago to justify having 1 national title in the last 5 decades.

Why are you spending time on an SEC board? Don’t you have some “big” 10 buddies you could chat with on another board? All your snarky comments only tell us how bad it still hurts you that UGA ripped out your heart and as Lewis Grizzard once said “ stomped that sucker flat.”

lol. 1 and 2 are very solid in Texas and So Cal. There is a debate for CWS trips/titles vs just titles, but still

LSU is at 3, but youre not 1 or 2.

Compare the # of NCs between LSU & Tx. You may be surprised at what you find.

Then, research what happened when we played them for a title...

You really must have consumed a lot of alcohol. We Dawgs appreciate your extreme interest in our program though. Can’t say the same for our interest in your team. I didn’t see a single THE osu game other than the playoff game and I was there. Much better SEC games to watch. No one really cares about the “big” 10 south of Ohio

I don't think any college baseball fan would be surprised that both have 6 NC. What's surprising is LSU fans trying to nudge into the top 2.

SC has 12 NC.
UT has 36 CWS appearances to LSU's 19.
UT has 6 runner up finishes to LSU's 1.
UT has 88 CWS wins to LSU's 40.
