In the big 3 sports the Big 10 has 3 national championships since 2000.
2 in football 1 in basketball
In contrast 5 different SEC teams have football natties in that timeframe, 2 have in basketball, 6 in baseball. Some teams with numerous ones totaling 26 national championships for the SEC in the big 3 sports.

The NC game was close bc Georgia’s offense couldn’t get going. But they solved that.
And 2021 AL was so strong that they ran it back with the core leadership of the 21 squad in 22 and lost 2 games, looked pedestrian all year, and didnt make ATL. Meanwhile UGA lost 15 draft picks and 12 transfers and went 15-0.
