As an LSU fan....I hope yall do win...It will show the world that TALENT wins
most of the time. Lane amassed a talented team and coached the team to be great at their craft. The sky is the limit at RED STICK

I believe the Ole Miss championship ride is ended tonight by Miami.Besides Kirby shitting the bed , the Hurricanes will bring pressure like Chambliss did NOT see and in 10 lifetimes Trinidad will never again make a few game changing passes like he did against Georgia.

Don't get jealous. You need a little kiss to make you feel better? There you go!

I'll never be jealous of a kiss arse. My least favorite type of person actually. But continue to do you.

He does seem to have gotten their attention. I am very impressed with what he is doing right now. It will be interesting to see how he builds his staff and what kind of offense does he want to run. I think if Ole Miss starts out a little slow next year, that's not an endictment on Golding even though this board will run with it. It's not going to be as easy as jumping into a team that is already built. Not saying he can't do it. I'm only saying that it will be a storyline going into 2026.

I agree. Our new OC will likely run the same style of offense, and Golding, for all intents and purposes, will still be calling the D (not that I like that too much), with the new DC acting more as a co-DC.

So, you prefer a message board to not actually discuss the different teams in the SEC and you would prefer that we all just sling shite at each other all the time?

Of course Ole Miss fans outnumber Miami fans. Miami fans find winning to be routine. For Ole Miss fans it is totally new - something they have never experienced before. How many championships has each team won in the past 60 years?

Exactly what I am trying to avoid. It's so dumb. We haven't even had the february siging day, the end of the portal or spring practice. Rosters aren't even finalized yet and people are throwing out callout threads for every transfer portal news they hear. It's fricking dumb.

Yea, XM 84 is like "Is this one of the most impressive wins by a CFP coach?" And I'm thinking "He was handed everything on a silver platter. This wasn't a case of Cignetti or Kiffin taking a broken program and building them up, he took Kiffin's work which was handed to him on a silver platter." Cignetti has by far the most impressive wins amongst CFP coaches now. Why? He built it from scratch. Golding was just handed the keys to the Lambo, and told "alright, you drive now. I'm the one who earned the money to buy this car, but it's your turn to drive on this road trip."

It's a great win to beat UGA, but to give most of the credit to Golding is disingenuious. This is 95% Kiffin's work. Especially when Golding's side of the ball was the weaker unit throughout the year.

My favorite Pete Golding feature is that he would read this paragraph and not give one single shite if you’re giving him credit or not.

I didn't intend to get into this discussion in this thread, but LSU can't help but bring it up.

Giving Kiffin any credit is disingenuious.

Kiffin quit on his team. He abandoned the team at the most critical time. He gets no credit. None.

You can't quit and walk out on a project at work 95% of the way through and leave your staff and co-workers hanging and and expect to get credit for the job. It doesn't work that way.

This is no longer Kiffin's team. He's a quitter. Pete gets 100% credit for tackling the challenge and taking the team forward.
