Shhh whatever you do please don't tell them about the true freshman we had catching TD passes either. Or how their defense couldn't defend a 5'10" walkon QB. Or that they only managed a FG in the time that they had their all world beater Jamo on the field. Shhhh

Absolutely, I said it bothered me. I wanted Alabama to win. That’s what fans do. Excuses? None here. Others? Again, absolutely. Sometimes that’s another thing fans do.

In fairness, I haven't seen you making excuses. I think this whole thing started when some Alabama fans started saying Alabama would have won if Williamson and Metchie had been in the game.
I mean, yeah, probably. But we had a ton of people out, too.
Both teams had a lot of production missing.....but...as you pointed out, that is football.

BTW, I never said he was guilty. I said he exercised some really bad judgment and if he were guilty…

No evidence he even showed bad judgement. Hey. I don't know if he is guilty or not. We have a guy on our board that knows him, and he said if Anderson is guilty it would be totally out of character for him to do something like that. I have read reports and talked to others who know him (Before this happened) and they raved about his character.

DuBose? No. He couldn’t coach his way out of a paper bag. Mike Shula was a decent man and ambassador for the university, just in over his head. DuBose wasn’t even a decent ambassador. The story is he’s changed his life for the better. I hope so.
For Alabama to have had two of the greatest coaches of all time they have had some pretty meh coaches, too. But, if everybody was really good Bryant and Saban wouldn't be special.

I actually have no problem with you. Alabama fans should feel the way they do. We would if it were reversed. I usually come here when I am bored and tend to argue a bit.

Did Williams going down and Metichie being out affect the game? Yes.

What if Arian Smith can stay on the field? What if George Pickens was 100 percent not on a pitch count? What if Adam Anderson wasn't such an idiot? What if Alabama can actually beat a Walk-on QB?

What if Colt McCoy played his entire last game in college?

What if Alabama had better depth?

There are a lot of what ifs in history, but as time passes and folks still look at 2021 in the history books, it'll simply read Georgia, and how sweet it is. Nothing can knock us off this pedestal, I assure you.

I'd say most Alabama fans are gracious in defeat, they know who they are and what they have, but some of ya'll are insecure af for a team that just won its first National title in 4 decades. Lol. Just accept defeat.

Too bad the Bammer coaching staff, including HC Nick Saban, didn't coach up their backup players like Georgia coaches did theirs. True freshmen, Redshirt freshmen, a former walk-on 5' 10" QB, walk-on DBs, etc, outplayed Alabama all game long. In the fourth quarter we were running our 5th string RB and he ran over Bammer LBs and DL.
As for the WR that went down, our WR George Pickens was playing on a bad leg and was limited to only a few plays in the NC game. Cry all you want. You still lost to a better team.

I expect you recall Georgia beating the shite out of Alabama for the National Championship. I mean, it just happened a few months ago.

Now - deal with it excuses boy.

Yes, for one. 99% of your fans are butthurt and it's hilarious. And it kinda feels like that 99% includes you

I can't speak for everyone, but I was upset for a few hours after the game and did the shoulda, woulda, coulda thing, but then moved on. Congrats on the win. I'm excited to see what this upcoming seasons team can do. I'm a little worried about our o line, but everything else is in place for another great team.

You’re a fool if you disagree

Alabama is the most pathetic fan base their is. All of them championships but still so insecure about their overall place they whine like bitches when they occasionally lose. Instead of appreciating what they have and staying humble.

Do you recall Auburn beating the crap out of Alabama in 2017? Does that ring a bell? I guess Alabama should not have been in the playoffs.

Everybody does the woulda, shoulda, coulda thing after a game like that. Perfectly normal.

This is the year for Alabama. You guys should be untouchable.

that's how MOST bama fans are. I mean when you've won as much as you have the last 15 years with no real sign of slowing down, it's kinda easy to just shrug and say "oh well, we'll get another one next year"

But then there is the very small contingent that also happens to be the loudest that you see in threads like this. Ones that are so unaccustomed to losing (and likely in their 20s or younger) that they simply cannot grasp the fact that another team was simply flat out better for those 60 minutes than alabama. So excuses of injuries, or refereeing, or signal stealing, or biased crosswinds, or any other thing you can think of come to the forefront since there's simply NO WAY that bama wasn't the best team on that day. Those people are pathetic.
