it'll be wild if LSU ends up firing another coach that won them a title. lol

he's probably only got one more season to turn it around

They've only done it once.

Just means they'll hire another one and win a title in his third season

It’s hard to compare because generally LSU gets a guaranteed 3-1 at worst from non conference games. In a normal schedule non covid year this is probably a 7-5 year for LSU, which last happened in 2008 (the year after our last title actually)

Normally, I would say it kind of sucks.

However, in this fake covid season, I could not care less that we suck. It does not matter to me whatsoever.

If they suck again in 2021, then yes I will care.

Of course it is. Titles don't come around every year or 40. Ask Georgia.

i think winning it this year is a bigger accomplishment in a way especially if you had key players or coaches out for big games.

it is more of a total team effort. Playoffs could see backup players become legendary

it is almost like a war in which even little kids have to take up arms

Why are you so proud of someone who openly hated, suppressed and killed negros?

Cause Clemson is and always will be racist as frick. Ya'll still hanging bananas from the trees of black players who do poorly on gameday?

I would take 1 title and be bad for the next nine seasons (or 1 title every decade) over being average to good every year and never win the title.

Most schools fall in the average to good category but never win the big one.

Not much different than beating AAC powerhouses like Baskin & Robbins and Sisters of the Immaculate Conception during the regular season, only to get embarrassed in the playoffs.

Pardon me while I attempt to calculate the

I would feel the losing season basically cancelled out the title season. the law of averages getting even

you get that high off a natty and then go cold turkey with a losing season that's got to be rough

You feel this way because it was your team that got their asses whipped. It's not like you don't know the fact that LSU lost the majority of that team to the NFL and opt outs.

you wouldn't have felt that way in 2016, and you're lying if you say otherwise. All but maybe 3 programs right now would trade a national title for a losing season the following year in a heartbeat and that's only because they have won multiple recently (Alabama/Clemson) and/or are in the playoffs almost every year and have a recent title (OSU)
