Is uninjured 2019 Alabama as good as uninjured 2019 LSU

LSU and Alabama in 2019 we're almost mirror images of each other. Generational offenses, with good defenses that were crippled with injury. Alabama was weak at LB and LSU was weak at S due to injury. Upvote if you think an uninjured LSU and Alabama were on par, downvote if you think LSU was just outright better.

It would have been one hell of a game, no doubt.

Who cares? There were injuries and that’s that.

2019 Bama had Tua, so this is an impossible question to answer.

LSU 2019 had so many suspensions that were served throughout the season that we were almost never at full strength until the NCG.

Tua was not 100% and they were missing like 40 LBs. LSU was unstoppable on offense and kept making stupid mistakes on defense.

This always confuses me. Kid said he was 100%—why not take him at his word?

I would've loved to see BOTH teams at full strength and healthy. LSU won the game on the field so everything else is just "what ifs".

Burrow had an UNREAL year... Dude was an ice cold killer... Hard to say if the ultimate outcome would have been different... Perhaps. I think it would have been even closer if MAJOR injuries weren't a factor... BUT no excuses... LSU was the best team last year...

Ok I'll bite.. Because fighters fight and don't make excuses.. Anyone, with half an IQ point, knows that he wasn't 100%... Not a chance in hell someone heals from that type of injury that quickly..

Then why did your coach play him?

Because he was still the best option? Good grief this is the worst attempt at a “gotcha” I’ve ever seen, even for you.

ETA: not saying Bama wins with 100% Tua. I don’t worry about stuff like that, it’s all part of the game and LSU offense was stout. Just pointing out the obvious logic flaws in Billy Tryshard’s post.

So he’s more concerned with winning than the safety of his players? Good to know.

Yes...at the time they played but not at the end of the season.LSU's defense got better at the end of the season.
