If Bryce Thompson plays that would be an interesting matchup. He's been back at practice.

UF's best players are its WRs. They should be used.

They've been trying to get the run game going all season, but sooner or later, you gotta go with what works.

Only way you get better is to play.

True, but while we're 3-0 theres still hope for the season so I can see him getting package plays here n there. If we were 1-2 or something like that I'd be all on board with putting him in full time so he could learn and be ready for next year.

Without BT, y'all will eat us alive if your WRs are good (the freshman that's been playing while he's been out is talented but raw as hell). With BT, we stand a chance of keeping things respectable.

I agree that y'all should be throwing more. Your OL seems to have the same issues as ours - we can pass pro but run blocking is shaky and WRs are a strength.

Is Tate Martell ineligible?
Edit : if he is, how is Justin Fields immediately available, but Martell is not?
Edit edit : Justin “no spine” Fields

I don't think I have ever seen an offensive line pass protect so well suck so bad at run blocking.

It's seriously an anomaly.

Tough to say. UK's secondary was depleted as hell so I'm sure that helped but he seems to make better reads. He also seems more decisive and gets rid of the ball quick. If we are deep anywhere it's at receiver, so I think we have the playmakers to challenge defenses with the pass. Hopefully, if the pass is respected the run game can get going.

I think Trask will struggle under pressure. He doesn't look comfortable leaving the pocket and he's not elusive . A little worried when we face the better D lines but we would have struggled in those situations with Feleipe as well.

Gus can’t develop QB disease! The backups get less attention and are just allowed to play.

Franks is such a man child. UF is better off without him. I do wish him luck with the injury. I don’t like seeing anyone get an injury like that.

I predicted 4 to 5 losses for UF this year primarily because of Franks inconsistency. Now they may only lose 2 to 3. I hope Franks heals well as a person, but for UF, this may hve been the best thing to happen to them. If he stayed in the game on Saturday, UF would have its first loss.

I really don't understand the love affair Florida fans have with Franks.

Trask reproduced Franks' passing statistics in one quarter vs. three and people are still saying: Well Franks is still a good QB.

He's not. Trask is a career backup -- including in high school.

That says way more about Franks than it does Trask.
