Meh. There's really not much going on in Tuscaloosa outside of campus and the Strip.

I will give that site this - it does a good job of sneaking in clicks without being completely obvious.

Tuscaloosa would be higher on my list, but it’s not a bad list.. and as for comment about Columbia, MO. It’s actually a pretty great college town. Ive been there twice and had a great time. Reminds of a Midwest Tallahassee vibe.

Columbia, SC has a lot to offer. Very underrated IMO. But, Williams Brice being stuck in the shithole fairgrounds, rail yard, shanty town at the bottom of the hill does it no favors.

With some gentrification there, it could be even better. But the city itself is a lot of fun. And, the location living herr is awesome... 2 hrs to the beach or the mountains.

I don't a lot of issue with the rest.

Why are you upset over what a third-rate site has to say?

Everyone loves their own university’s town.
College memories as thick as thieves and friends as close as family.
These lists are nuthin’ but clickbait.

Bama's campus is very nice and the stadium atmosphere is solid. Tuscaloosa itself - meh.

A lot of the towns themselves are kinda meh though. Auburn has a nice area right off campus, but that's about it. It's not bad, but just meh. Athens, at #1 in this list, has an awesome "downtown" right off campus, but the rest of Athens is meh.

I haven't been to Columbia, MO, but have been to every other SEC city. I haven't been to a game at Arkansas or Texas A&M, but I have been to the campuses and cities.

Nashville would be my #1, but it's not really a fair comparison. It's a large city with all that has to offer. Most of the others are small to medium.

No,
Tuscaloosa would be a great city to spend 4 or 5 years in.

List is trash.

No way Auburn, Gainesville, and College Station can be ranked ahead of Baton Rouge. Food, arts, and history alone make Baton Rouge better.
