2018, 2016 beat this team. 2011 and 2012 give them a good game.

They are the only sec team exhibiting dominance in offense and defense.

This is why no one takes your queers seriously.

2012 would score 80 points against this team

Yeah they'd probably run the ball really well. I just figured the newer offenses would be too hard for the "older" teams to stop.

We aight. Defense is young. Should be better by the time the playoff is here. Doubt it matters before then.

The question of this being the best Bama team is either loss of memory or sarcasm at its finest.
Once again, good thing we have Tua & the WR speed demons cause overrated Mond gonna get his on our puppies.

LSU's defense is 2nd in the SEC in YPP allowed, behind only Mizzou

I think last year was Bama's best team overall that I can remember. Not sure what happened in the NC game, but every other game was a thrashing.

A&M doesn't have a chance in this game.

Nah, last year's defense had flaws that nobody in the league could really expose until Georgia and then Oklahoma and Clemson.

Even then, the Clemson game just went as bad as it could have all around.

I still think that 2016 was the best team we've had, even with a freshman QB who couldn't really throw against good pass defenses, with 2012 right behind it.

Last years Bama team was better than this one.

You have essentially the same offense but without that badass TE and a defense that doesn’t have Quennin Williams, Moses, Mack Wilson and Isiah Buggs.

They’re just so damn young on the front 7

Yea usually A&M waits until after they get beaten by 20 points to start bowing at Bama's feet. This is a preemptive bow down to engage in activity on ones knees

I think we're better on offense this year. Our scheme is less boom or bust and Tua is more complete. Not significantly better, but much better equipped to face really good defenses. We haven't yet, so I could be wrong, but I think that's the case.

Our defense is definitely worse overall. Our front 7 is clearly, without a doubt, much worse. Even for the issues with Mack at times last year and the fact that Dale has been very good, the ILB position goes from guys who could make plays to guys you are just hoping go where they are supposed to.

The secondary is without question better.

Overall I don't think we are quite as good right now, but I still think there is a chance we can be better on defense by November. It isn't a given at all, but it's possible. If not - we'll have trouble winning a title.

The 2011, 2012, 2015, 2016 teams would beat this one and possibly badly.

Us Bama fans have an identity’crisis. Us old farts want 2011 Bama. The younger fans like this type team.
