Ramsey chop blocked, no doubt, should have been flagged. Your guy chop blocked the OSU guy, should have been flagged. There is no difference other than the fact that people wear school colored glasses.

The fact that the Ramsey chop job came a play or 2 after he got frickING WORKED by Dorsey does little for Aubbies argument

Dude, a chop block is done specifically to take out a D lineman that is working over the offensive line, they don't do it somebody they are beating straight up

you just missed the opening. This thread's got potential, but you're not working it hard enough.

LSU's O-Line dominated OSU's D-Line on all but a couple of plays.

There seems to be a trend with rantards who will defend the play in the MNC game, but claim that Ramsey should be put to death for doing it against Dorsey.

One was quite obviously intentional, and karma has served that little piece of shite up properly.

The end.

So what you are saying is the lsu fig had no reason to chop block. He just wanted to hurt a guy he was already beating badly.

What a piece of shite.

You didn't play ball did you. Either that or you're just flaming.

Ramsey had no defender opposite him in the line set. During the snap count he's thinking about his "assignment" as well that of his mates. He has time to consider where Dorsey will likely attack and how he can "get him". Snap occurs, Ramsey knows his tackle has Dorsey assigned, he lets Dorsey engage, then he then looks-focuses-targets-and-clips into the back of Dorsey's knees. He rols rolls forward. Ramsey wasn't looking to double one guy well into the play then at the last second changed his mind to dive into the front of the feet of a second guy as the LSU player did.

Come on.

That lsu guy is a sick bastard that wanted to hurt a guy for no reason. Lsu fans are pussies for not doing something about it.

1000x worse than Ramsey.

LOL at the LSU homers saying "but Ramsey intended to injure" as if they were in Ramsey's head.

In fact, Ramsey and Helms did the same exact move. They faked one way and went to cut the defender the other way, a very common move for an Olineman. If u say Ramsey was intending to injure, well you can say the same about Helms.

Technically, this is the SEC Rant. When this board was made, one of the first things clarified by the staff was that "This is an LSU board" really had no place on this particular board, as it was counterproductive to other fans joining this site.

And that's exactly what I'm talking about. LSU nation has it in their head that "Ramsey intended to hurt Dorsey"but the only evidence they have of that is the fact that the chop block happened.

Did Ramsey chop block Dorsey? Of Course, i just dont think it was intentional move to hurt dorsey. he just fricked up.

If you look at both vids, you'll notice Ramsey and Helms do the same EXACT move. They faked one way and went the other way to cut the DLineman. Just so happen the dlineman was engaged. It's a common move for Olineman, but if not executed properly it can lead to a chop block.

dude, if you don't see a difference in those two plays, you're smoking or have cataracts.

We all know the difference. One was a LSU player doing the chop blocking and the other was an Auburn player.

To sum it up, when an LSU player chop blcoks, it's 'just part of the game' but when an opposing team does it, it was a 'premeditated, blatant attempt to end someone's career'
