That doesn't make a rivalry. The Egg Bowl is one of the most intense rivalries in the SEC but the implications involved in that game are very minimal. The same thing goes for Army-Navy. That might be the greatest, most storied rivalry in the history of college football but the game itself hasn't had any major implications in decades.

So using your logic, Michigan/Ohio St is no longer a rivalry.
