Y’all do have a date Saturday together.

It ends with bammer getting railed up the booty.

Has Alabama ever had “fluke years” with consecutive head coaches?

Sadly, it probably does. There's no getting around it or out of it. We may as well get over it.

Y'all didn't have fluke years with consecutive head coaches.

Nick won y'all one with an amazing team.

Les snagged y'all one with two losses, a bit of luck, a healthy dose of charisma and some amazing politicking.

Yawyaw himself had little to do with the latest one and probably doesn't even remember large portions of that day.

I mean, it could happen. I'm not counting on it. If anything, I know what Nick's been doing with shite like chastising the fans on the Hey Coach show.

Everything he does he does for a very specific reason and more often than not, the things he says in public, he says with the expectation that the team will hear it. He wasn't talking to us as much as he was to the locker room.

He wants the team to feel disrespected. He's fostering a narrative that no one -- except him -- feels like they can get the job done and he wants them to play with chips on their shoulders.

Will that gambit pay off? It could. It has before. Again, I'm not counting on it, but I've never seen anyone more adept at motivating a team than Nick Saban.

Yes, that and the fact that everybody who was in contention lost, while we won the SEC Championship game in Atlanta with a backup qb, and ran the score up on tOSU in the national championship. Probably my favorite title of the three in my lifetime.

Yes. Totally agree. At LSU, the program is bigger than any one head coach, and can field one of the greatest teams of all time despite having a meatheaded imbecile at the helm.

Now we have Brian Kelly, our first competent coach since Saban. It’s an exciting time.

That's the luck part. Even if you lose two games, all you need to do is put together that one complete game where it really counts and Les did that. I actually miss the motherfricker.

And no one is saying it's a bad hire! That's what's getting lost in all the background noise here! In fact, when it was first announced on here, I was more puzzled than anything. He seemed like an odd fish out of water at an odd age for Red Stick, but a solid hire nonetheless... if a bit vanilla.

The problem is the trolling and counter-trolling started and hasn't fricking stopped.

I think they will. I think it will be very similar to the Bama-Auburn game.

We don't have to replace our head coach every 3-5 years typically.

It's ok; LSU fans aren't accustomed to being respected and they damn sure don't respect anyone else.

Yeah, I was in sitting on the deck of a Destin restaurant trying to enjoy my dinner one time and a bunch of LSU fans was sitting behind us loudly hawking loogies into the bay. Disgusting lack of manners and respect.

How dare the Dawgs go 12-0 and be ranked #1.

And be in position for the CFPs regardless of CG outcome. You've every right to be pissed over an LSU coaching hire given your shite team situation

We own y’all in Atlanta. We own the all time record vs UGA. Congratulations on your copious amount of national titles since 1980. Truly an overachieving program UGA is
