From Bama board

“Take it for what is worth but word is team quit on Saban because of issues with highlighting players over others, not playing more players who have earned playing time and Saban blaming and chewing out defense after OU game.
Word is team was upset that Tua kept getting all the hype as if he was the sole reason team was winning....said skilled players on offense were ticked that it was always Tua....
Team also was ticked that Jalen didn’t get more praise and attention after SEC for winning that game....said players were disturbed that he didn’t win game MVP and was not applauded by media and Saban for saving bama’s Season.....
Team was pissed Saban caved to Najee getting more touches in this game than Jacobs or Harris because they wanted to feature Najee because they were afraid he was going to transfer....
Said team doesn’t care for Najee’s me first attitude....team loves Jacobs and D Harris and felt Saban dissed both for a cry baby.....B Robinson is pissed; said team all know he is better back than Najee but Saban plays Najee because of his 5 star tag...said Robinson is hearing Sanders will automatically spilt time with Najee because of 5 star status coming out of HS....
Said team doesn’t like Tosh, defense loved and misses Kirby....said Tosh blames players for being stupid or dumb and really gets into them for his errors....this has caused severe problems where Saban gets involved and backs Tosh....
Team was not happy Saban didn’t let them have more fun in this game and previous game.....thought it was too strict....
Davis and Buggs are/were cancers to team and decided to rebel and not play all out because of being jealous Williams got all the attention and they got none....said both decided to pack it in and others knew they did but Saban let them play anyway with selfish attitudes...... look at their play.....
Young players on D Line are really frustrated as well as young linebackers who are not playing because Saban will not let them
Play because they have to so called wait their turn even though they are better....said many want to transfer to include Ray and DE from Baltimore....DE from Baltimore had to be talked into staying on team.....
Said team is growing tired of Cochran as S and C coach for some reason....
Saban has some work to do to restore order on team...
All from team source.”

We had a bad game. It happens. All this deep reading just shows how dominate Bama has been. A loss can't just be a loss. We blew Clemson out last year in the playoffs and they rebounded just fine. You can't win them all.

Bama finally met a team that was better coached, better prepared and better conditioned than the team Saban fielded, and it showed. This was not a close match-up. Bama’s offensive linemen were on the oxygen tanks in the first quarter. That was an ominous sign.

You sound like an Auburn fan after we beat the brakes off uga last season, but every game is different and teams that have similar to equal talent will tend to find a happy medium if they play more than once. See the NFL.

I'm not sure where this whole, "UGA was running the ball down LSU's throat" narrative comes from.

I heard it from LSU fans who followed it with “for some reason your idiot coach decided to stop tuning the ball”

I don't buy that we had a bad game excuse. There were plays where the entire offensive line just backed away without trying to block. It is on tape. Either they purposely threw the game or they wanted someone playing QB to fail. Alabama has enough talent to play a terrible game and still win. That was not a team trying to win. Say what you want. Bama beat us, they over powered us at the line of scrimmage. I am not making excuses as to why we lost. But several teams in the SEC this year would have gave Clemson a better fight. I am not bashing coach Saban. He is the best in the business. They weren't out coached. Their players quit.

This would have been a good narrative for Georgia to go with except your own QB shot that idea in the head with his statement about how LSUs defense adjusted and were no longer giving Georgia the look they wanted to feel secure about running the ball more.

I don’t think there is a problem in the locker room.

I think Bama honestly believed that they were the greatest team ever assembled and thought they just had to show up and Clemson would bend the knee and let them win.

Clemson looked like they took the game seriously and prepared accordingly.

True. But there was no divided Alabama team. Clemson just took them to the woodshed.

Bringing it back to the top. With the coaches bailing on Alabama and Saban, it is more and more clear that there is trouble in paradise. Even the most die hard Bama fan can't deny the turmoil. And now you have 7 early departures for the draft. I will not dispute that they will all make NFL rosters. I will say that this bucks a trend for Bama. They usually are compensated enough to make staying plausible. What gives? One loss and the well runs dry?

I am skeptical... when did this happen in the game (quarter and time on clock)?
