I think they'd rather play for the GOAT coach.

Bama just happens to be where he's coaching right now.

Outside of that, Bama hasn't landed a single 5 star from Louisiana since O took over.

OoF!

Alabama was very fortunate to land two GOAT coaches.

Outside of them, they have one title between today and the 1940's.

That's nearly Aggie territory.

we should exclude the 2 best coaches ever in college football. Nevermind that to exclude Saban would exclude his LSU title as well.

that aside, from 1940-2020 Alabama was still way better than LSU

In other words, even at its worst, Alabama was still better than LSU.

But couldn’t do it first.

Couldn’t go undefeated 1st. That was LSU. 1st in the SEC modern and future to do so. 1908

You couldn’t go 15-0 in the modern playoff era. Bama still hasn’t. LSU has.

So while your claim as a blue blood is well deserved, LSU was winning before women had the right to vote…

It took almost 4 minutes for Sidewalk to respond. We are concerned, are you feeling OK? Should we call EMS?

He's averaging about 44 posts a day. Think about that.

Believe me, this is 100% what chaps their arse and the impetus for the daily threads such as this one.

Despite their success, there are certain milestones they will never have that LSU does. Nevermind the fact that LSU blows them out of the water in number of national championships outside of football(even though Bammers only care about football, thats relevant because they ARE aware of it and it's another hit to the psyche.)

This is why all the rootin' and tootin' comes from such an emotional place.

You offered RR before Saban

And Price, Shula, Dubois

And don't forget Perkins, Curry, and Stallings. They all won at least 10 games in a season. Bill Curry won COY and Stallings wins an NC and multiple SECC. Even when BAMA was in the wilderness, after Gene Stallings, every coach of that era has at least one 10 win season if they actually coached on the field. Even Mike Dubois wins the SEC in 1999.

Now do it without Bear's W's

Your Program has had the 2 best CFB Coaches of all time (though Bear would be cancelled today with the drunkness AND Saban was an accident).

It takes this level of Coaching to win consistently at Bama.

Bama's cluster would be the biggest diamond you could imagine.
LSU'S would be just a cluster frick.

It’s like the 60’s - 90’s… a split NC.

Why does it have to just be 5*'s ? CNS is the best at player development and La kids like Christian Harris, Phil Mathisand Chris Allen are all going to be very high draft picks.

While not a La kid The GOAT stole Jojo from all last year

I agree.

Shoot, they'd all be playing for him at Auburn if Saban had ended up there.
