Is there a more delusional fanbase heading into the 2021 season than LSU ?

I really dont see why they think their Offense is going to be great ? Their OL was complete garbage last year...They had the 109th best rushing attack and they were 84th in sacks allowed. Did they bring in some wardog OL transfers ?
Last year they couldnt run the ball or protect the QB.
Should be fun to watch

They also let a Gus offense kick their arse by 37 pts.

You don't understand why some are optimistic that a bunch of first time starters on the offensive line could've improved with a a season of starting experience, an offseason of work, and a new offensive line coach?

I’m sorry we are excited about LSU football again. I’ll be sure to sulk in the corner because during the most asterisks of asterisks years our team of brand new starters didn’t play well.

LSU is the undisputed kangs of delusional expectations. It's beyond offseason champions of yore. Their delusion goes on well into the first week of November. Shocking stuff.

it would take that because, as I have noted, it's the worst follow up season to a national title in my lifetime and that's not hyperbole or exaggeration. That's a fact.
edit: I misread that as best comeback. Best cornerback surely isn't referring to the guy that Devonta Smith abused last year.

Glad you are keeping such close tabs on the LSU fan base. Obsessed much?
Most LSU fans are in wait-and-see mode. New OC, new DC. Last season* was such a wash. LSU has a lot of talent in many areas but still has a lot of questions. Inexperienced QB, questions on O-line, loss of starting left tackle, LB probably weakest it has been in a long time, starting safety is an unknown. I think they are a year away from real contention. Hoping for a 2018 type season.

It's the only championship team in your lifetime that lost 18/22 starters, two coordinators, and didn't have an offseason to break in its new starters and coaches before an all conference schedule.

TBH the fact that they could only get 32 yards rushing vs the Aubbbie front 7 was more alarming to me. They averaged giving up 162ypg
