Those Fat guys held LSU a lot.

20 points?

Yeah cause you blew us out the 1st time.

You got out-gained, out-played, and Bama's kickers just choked. That is all.

oh bama beats auburn and they're #1? Makes sense. 12-0 lsu at #2 cause everyone knows that bama only lost at home because they had too much bama in em, roll damn todd.

Has nothing to do with who we play, and only a little to do with who you play.

We are #2 solidly, if we win, and I had to bet. I say we stay #2 until we play again, unless you lose then I say we are #1.

You are #1 solidly, if you win, you would stay #1.

However, if you lose, you will drop... Then it becomes a question of how much do you drop and how much does the team you beat move up. Well there is no room really since you lost to #3 who typically moves up in that situation. So you either drop to #2 or #3, my guess would be you drop to #3.

You are trying to debate with a rantard. It is useless and pointless. Plus, Maxy is just here to flame.

That is a helluva lot of National TV time to carry an argument.

No need. Gumps will settle of the drama, and lose.

With all the hype over LSU-Ark, and the talk of Bama sitting back waiting for the NCG, I got the feeling they will over-look a 7-4 rival quietly looking to play spoiler.

I guess so. I can't comprehend how a win over a would-be 3 loss OU team would make such a big deal when human voters make up, what, 2 thirds of the BCS formula? The same people who have OSU ranked #6 right now? I guess we're expecting some mad rush of voters to go in OSU's corner this week?

Only way I see Bama being #1 is if LSU loses and Bama wins. It has nothing to do with Auburn you dumb frick.

we'll know more on Saturday, but by default.. Oklahoma St will move up (in the eyes of the voters, also) with an LSU win over Arkansas.

an Oklahoma St team sitting at #3 while facing OU is a bad thing for Alabama fans. I honestly doubt they win that game, but if they do, it comes down to a minority of voters.

I think OkS has a good shot but whatever happens happens

Ordinarily I'm against rematches for a NCG but this year may be an exception because unless OkS makes up enough ground Bama will make it under the rules we all live by

Kinda tough on LSU having to beat the same team twice (when they won the first time on their field) but if they are the only opponent with a decent argument for being there (which they are if OkS loses to OU) they should be there

RIIIIIIGGGGHHHTTTT because a 9 - 6 OT victory is making Bama's arse quit LoL

And Trent had more yds than any LSU RB, and your overrated honey bun was getting owned all game so much so that his punkass got so aggrivated he layed a cheapshot on the REAL DB on the field, you know the one who shut down Randle all night. I'm warning you LSU wants no part of a rematch with Bama

I don't get how people think OU will win that game.

Oklahoma State is just much better than them.

I'm sure don't get how Oklahoma State lost to Iowa State either.

I wonder who would win in a game between Iowa State and Texas Tech. If I had to guess, I'd say ISU wins big...by almost 5 TDs if I had to put a number on it.

OSU has a good shot at beating OU.

I still fail to see how it's fair to LSU to have to play an extra game in the SECCG and bammer gets to backdoor their way into a rematch having played one less game.

based on this, and with OSU beating OU... how do you line them up then?

Iowa State > Okie Lite > TT > OU

meh... only thing we know for certain is that OU blows?

When has CFB all the sudden started being fair?

Did I not get the memo?
If so, I need to start sending I'm sorry cards to all the other CFB teams that have been screwed throughout CFB history.
I'll start with 1966 Bama team 1st.

So, Bama fans want to say they deserve a rematch when LSU had to go into the most hostile environment imaginable on nov 5 AND STILL won the game? Now bama fans want to say they're the second best team based on a game they lost even though they played with a loaded deck? Oh, because Ok st. lost(in double overtime by the way) to a team ON THE ROAD, and with the added distraction of one of their athletic team's staffs getting wiped out by a plane crash. But some of you people want to talk about a point spread. An L is a damn L. Period. 2nd best in the nation? All we know is who's 2nd best in the conference. Mcaroon sucks, but bama's more deserving than teams who have big time qbs, have the SAME # of losses, will win their conference championships and blew away the rest of their competition? You lame arse prideless Bama fans deserve the worst kinda beatdown imaginable if a rematch does happen, although I'm pretty sure it won't.

You mean exactly like OSU would be doing if they made it. The big 12 no longer have a championship game do they would be playing one game less too. I've seen some valid arguments against a rematch. That isn't close to being one of them.

Some conferences have championship games, some don't. Different conferences have different rules about this. If something were done in the future to address this it would be up to an individual conference to fix this if they have an issue?

The BCS's primary objective is to identify the two best teams in the country, not worry about how the various conferences are arranging their champions.
