OU always loses the playoffs/championship in an embarrassing manner.

That's like, their thing.

Lighten up Francis. Good and overrated, average-bottom, and bottom teams were the ones that lost. In this Covid environment, going to see some weird results. I am sure we will see some bottom feeder SEC teams like Mizzou knock off powers this year.

When was Texas Tech's last conference title?

I'll give you a hint, it was a 5-way tie for 2nd because the team with the best record was ineligible for the postseason.

Brannigan, you are an idiot! The NC count may lack but the XII was a beast from 2000-2009 as a full 12 member conference. Texas A&M and Missouri held their own in their time.

It’s the SEC plus Clemson and Ohio state.

Nobody else matters in the grand scheme of things.

The Big Twelve was the 2nd best conference that decade behind the SEC.

big 12 is 10x stronger top to bottom than the ACC. They are just behind B1G. And, all ahead of the Pac

Yeah, last year in the ACC, there was Clemson and then everyone else was barely better than KU or worse

Not post-Slocum we didn't.

A&M only finished better than 3rd in the South ONCE after Stoops arrived (tied for first in 2010)

First 3 years of the Big 12: 2 Division Titles, 1 Conference Title.

Next 11 years: 0 Division or Conference Titles (tied for 1st once)

No. Big 12 is not a major conference. Big 12 today is what the MWC was 10 years ago.

1 school that stays ranked high, a couple others that rotate in and out of the top 25 every so often, the rest are hot dog shite from flyover country that even moderate college football fans have trouble remembering.

It's a Power 5 conference in name only, and even that is wearing thin at this point.

I'm thinking that Notre Dame will just join the ACC after this year.

Yeah because your shitty team barely beat the likes of Iowa State and lost to Kansas State when it mattered, it was a beast. You conference has always sucked.

Brannigan, you have no clue about college football. Did you start watching in 2010? If that’s the case then no wonder you’re so clouded. How has it always sucked? Explain yourself.

You play a bunch of really shitty teams every single year. As evident by you getting blown out whenever you face a team with real talent. The results speak for themselves.

The Big 12 title game was infamous for knocking championship contenders out of the national title game.

1996: UR-t.u. over 3-Nebraska
1998: 10-A&M over 1-Kansas State
2001: 9-Colorado over 3-t.u.
2003: 13-KSU over 1-Oklahoma
2007: 9-Oklahoma over 1-Missouri

I don't know what Iowa State's deal is. They're typically pretty competitive by years end and they have maybe the best coach they've ever had currently.

But they always drop these earlier games. It's a conundrum.

KSU has a damn good coach but he's got a tougher job on his hands. Kansas and Tech are pretty hopeless at this point, and I don't see how they're going to recruit anybody good enough to get over the hump again. But they've basically shifted their attention to sports that occur after January at this point
