2nd in the West likely comes down to A&M and LSU in November.

Or because it’s an odd numbered year Gus learns how to coach again and Auburn wins the West

I hope we keep the home game advantage streak over A&M this year, but am not optimistic.

Interesting. I'm surprised you didn't say 7th. Or 9th.

I think they go 3-3 in the West and 1-1 in the East, with losses to Alabama, Auburn, LSU, and Georgia. Throw in a loss to Clemson, and they're staring down the barrel of a 7-5 season. If USCe and one of the MS schools surprise them, they may not go bowling this year.

Excellent - keep those expectations low.

There is a stat/ graphic out there (don’t know where I saw it) showing programs that consistently exceed expectations and those that consistently do not live up to expectations.

Haha. Silly corn dog, you posted the graph of LSU fans emotions during 74-72. And you didn’t even add in the Gatorade bath.

I take it you didn't like the graphic.

Did see some significant losses in their front 7.

I guessed we've "surprised" them for 3 years straight now.

3rd in their division, just like every other good aggie team before them historically.

What do you define as "good"? I see them losing to Clemson, Alabama, Georgia, and LSU.

I think A&M will have a good/solid team next year but that schedule is brutal.

Jimbo bringing in Elko was one of the best things to happen for that program in a while. Their D was really soft under Sumlin. They have some rebuilding to do in the secondary and replacing experience in the front 7, but I would trust Elko to field a good defense again.

To be fair we did win the game on that play considering the Tight End caught the ball and took more steps than James Harden before fumbling.
