Well, apparently the refs suck at protecting Tennessee. Penalties vs opponents.

So far this season, Tennessee has had 31 penalties for 271 yards. Their opponents have had 17 penalties for 143 yards.

Tennessee's best opponent so far is Oklahoma who ranks #17 in F+.
I think your other claim at a ranked team is NCST? They are ranked #70.
Kent St is ranked 134 out of 134 teams, and their other opponent is FCS.
If Tennessee was what you claimed, you wouldn't need to be full of shite.

2019 LSU improved over the year, so it's possible. But their offense was a hell of a lot better than Tennessee's.
Tennessee has played a total of 1 decent team and nobody else. And the main reason you won is because that team literally gave you multiple turnovers. Struggled to score in the 2nd half. That team then only wins against Auburn because of bad Auburn coaching/play calling.
I think Tennessee fans are the ones who are rightfully nervous. What has Tennessee done that should make me nervous?

Hell yes they’re a contender. The defense alone makes them a contender. Unless you confuse Nico and force him to make errors TN is gonna be hell to beat.

Contender for a NC? No. For a possible playoff spot? Maybe. For a 10-2 season and being left out? Likely.

My answer would be yes. Oklahoma is a little better than people think, Auburn is a little better than people think, and Tennessee is a damn good team, probably 2 or 3 in the SEC.
We could have taken them down if things had gone our way. Auburn should have taken us down, but again, we're pretty good. Ugly good.
The fact that TN beat us in our place is pretty damn impressive.

I think they are slightly below Texas, Bama, and Georgia. I think they are better than everyone else. Unfortunately, those three teams are in our league.

I think if Nico improves, we stay healthy, and catch some lucky breaks here and there… we have an outside chance.

I also think we are still a little too thin in certain areas such as the O-line, secondary, and even linebacker - to an extent. We have been relatively fortunate with injuries so far, but unfortunately you have to know theyre coming.
