Is this happening?

Yes. We’ve told you for weeks. Sumlin is gone after LSU even if we blow them out by 40.

Sumlin lives matter.

Yes. We’ve been telling y’all this over and over.

This just seems like terrible timing.

Agreed.
Fire Sumlin at the end of September 2018.

Yeah. Right before Christmas. What a bunch of a-hole lovers.

You’re right. We should have done it last year.

SEC Network is talking like it's gonna happen after the LSU game.

Ask gatorbait2008 and whatever he says, believe the opposite.

No, it should have happened after Murray and Allen transferred.

I'd take Sumlin over Gus
Come to Arkansas Sumlin

If only we had a coaching changes forum

What was the reason(s) for both them transferring in 2015

You don't want him. The only thing he knows how to do consistently is make Arkansas lose.

I'm not a Sumlin fan and, in spite of how the following will likely be taken, this is not intended to be a troll, but what are the expectations at aTm?
Sumlin has the second highest winning % (of a non-interim HC) at aTm in the poll era.
The Ags have a .602 all time win % and a .447 all time bowl game win %. That puts them at a about a ~4.8 loss team per yr on a 12 game schedule, which is more or less what Sumlin has provided outside of a surprise attack by JFF.
That said, what are realistic expectations? Should it be championships or bust, or an MSU keep us bowling Dan and we're happy? Based on history, the latter seems right, but the firing does not.
It's tough to bring in a solid new coach if exceeding all historical standards and winning to the 2nd highest standard in the poll history era is a "fireable" offense.
Or, is the Sumlin firing more attitude/relationship focused vs performance based?

Winning an occasional division game at Kyle would be a good start. Sumlin hasn’t won at home last two years, and the win against Ole Miss was his first SEC win in November since 2015

It should have happened after we lost to Auburn at home in Johnny's second year. I knew right then that Sumlin didn't have it.
