I gave us a zero percent chance to win that regional. We saved Cam Johnson for game 4, game one of 2 win or go home games vs GT. And he lasted 3 whole batters lol. When he got pulled I figured it was over knowing we’d have to use extra arms and it was game 1 of the 2.
And our relief pitching got us real innings. Not perfect, we were down by 6 and 4 runs in both games. Bats saved the day but we had some good pitching at right times as well.
I kept waiting for GT to explode on us in the later innings and it never happened. Instead our bats came alive. That was such a great series and we played with house money and won.
And same for vs Kansas. We are still using house money and can play loose. But perhaps momentum will help too

He hasn't been the same since Tommy John. He's had games where he looks like he did pre surgery but he doesn't have the command he did as a freshman and sophomore before the injury and he struggles to get deep in a game.
He and Townsend are due for good performances. Really hoping they get them in Omaha. I'd love to see Rabe take the ball game 1 personally.

it’s amazing that we have two all sec supers and when it goes to world series we could 4 sec teams on one side of the bracket which immediately puts two in loser bracket .
