A bunch of redneck bulldog retards strolled in and handed the Sooners their first super regional L in over a decade…was that good?

Just watched the YouTube replay and announcers said “first home regional loss in over a decade”. My bad. First HOME super regional loss.

For the record, I expect our ladies to get murdered in the next game, or two, however, you gotsta’ flex when you are on-top, so I’m going that. Sooners will probably win the natty, IF they can scrape together a W against Faircloth.

State beat Oklahoma straight up today. Pounded 15 hits on them.

State has elite pitching. If it shows up tomorrow or Sunday, they can steal a WCWS spot.

Did State win the Sup, or did they just win a game? Weird flex, but congrats to Mississippi State, I guess?

YUP, They're pretty good. Beat every SEC team that managed to make it to the finals. Over the last 11 years they'll end up National Champions more than 50% of the time. Yeah, they good, Shamoan.

Over the last 11 years (2016–2026), Oklahoma Sooners softball compiled a dominant overall record of 577-62 (.903), winning six Women's College World Series (WCWS) championships, including an unprecedented NCAA four-peat from 2021 to 2024.

Year-by-Year Records (2016–2026)
2026: 51-9 (20-4 SEC)
2025: 52-9 (17-7 SEC)
2024: 59-7 (22-5 Big 12) National Champions, defeated Texas
2023: 61-1 (18-0 Big 12) National Champions, defeated Florida St.
2022: 59-3 (17-1 Big 12) National Champions, defeated Texas
2021: 56-4 (16-1 Big 12) National Champions, defeated Florida. St.
2020: 20-4 (0-0 Big 12) Season canceled in March due to COVID-19
2019: 57-6 (18-0 Big 12) WCWS Runner-up
2018: 57-5 (18-0 Big 12) WCWS
2017: 61-9 (17-1 Big 12) National Champions, defeated Florida
2016: 57-8 (17-1 Big 12) National Champions, defeated Auburn
2013: National Champions, defeated Tennessee
2000: National Champions, defeated UCLA

Edit, As a Texas fan and Alumnus, it's always good to rag on Joklahoma. However, I can't bring myself to feel anything but respect for Oklahoma Softball and what Patty Gasso and her staff have accomplished during her tenue.

Did MSU take Beano before hand? Anti Gasso pills?

Our pitching is not as strong as in years past. Since we lost Jordy to NU, we've not had a really dominant pitcher. Our ERA keeps moving up.

2025-2.66
2024-1.99
2023-0.96
2022-1.05

How did you allow this to happen?

She is from there and wanted to move back home and help Neb softball statewide. And her then boyfriend and now husband lived there. There was zero OU could do and I have no bad things to say about her. It was not about money nor problems it was just being close to home. And she loves helping young girls to grow the aport and wanted to do that at home.

Had she stayed we might be looking at our 6th in a row title. Instead we stopped at 4 in a row.

Sheesh. Win one game in a super regional and you want to talk smack to a team that's won eight national championships since 2000.

On second thought, MS State doesn't have much reason to crow; so, go ahead.

Correct and agreed. I still pull for her. Hope we never have to face her.
