Just spent a week in the Tulsa area. Main highways were smooth; far better than any city in Louisiana. Hit a Trader Joe’s, had some good pizza and Mexican, and had some of the best Vietnamese food ever. Liquor stores had a good selection. They have a new food hall that looks good. Gas is dirt cheap. Kind of freaked out in a packed McAlester's when I realized that every customer and employee was white. And I even looked in the kitchen. It was like I was on another planet.

Tulsa is a nice enough place. It's boring in general, but pretty decent for a city its size. Living in NWA we go there a couple of times a year, to get a better price on a flight if nothing else. They have a couple of cool old museums and a decent downtown.

I have more than once.

Not as bad as western OK.

Cosign. Nevada desert at least is interesting because it feels like you're on the surface of the moon.

The Oklahoma panhandle is the most desolate part of the continental US. Windy, flat as a pancake. The Land of Blowing Trash.

Nebraska May be uglier. It’s a barren wasteland.
