Sadly, I agree with you.

Once Saban's done, is Dabo a sure thing?

saban is an elite recruiter. QB development has never been his strong suit.

System does not depend on 50+ TD QB.

He needs maybe 2 to 3 great games a year from QB.

Last year he needed more against AU and UGA.

With the loaded defense and a good running game, 28 points will win almost every game.

Tua did not start last season because CNS carefully considered whether Tua or Jalen gave him the better chance to win. He put Tua in when the odds changed. Nice dilemma to have.

That title he backed into? lost to auburn, didn’t play in seccg, got the easy road trip to NOLA against a team who lost to Syracuse, then had to have the refs make a horrible offsides call, and then a no call on a facemask to get him back in it? That title? Yeahhhh i member that title.

Why weren't these players developed at Bama? Is Saban starting his story to becoming Bowden and Joe pa?

Auburn is paying Gus $7MM a year to not develop QBs.

Why is this a problem?

Seriously, at all of his stints whether it was Toledo, Mich State, LSU or Bama his QB's have never been flashy.

Also, what about Tua? If you're gonna take credit away for Hurts you have to give him credit for what will be the most dynamic QB in football in 2018.......at ANY level.

Gus took a lock for the Heisman and turned him into a backward pass throwing retard. So there's that.

When you are the defending national champion your age must be just fine.

This is pathetic. When has NS ever developed a qb? Also, Hurts simply isn't a passing qb nor does he have much ability to improve. In the right system, Hurts can be sufficient.

Saban don't need no stinkin' QBs.

The question is can Saban possibly win now that he has a QB? Tua changes the formula to one that Saban can't really control.

A few experts think that Nick stays with Hurts and the proven formula. Tua came within an eyelash of blowing the NCG before UGA blew a coverage.
