No one is gonna take the USC job until they've been eliminated from the LSU lottery. Big ol pay day.

I don't think so. He's lived and coached his whole life in the midwest. He's holding out for a primo B1G job. If Franklin leaves PSU (also unlikely but you never know) he may go there.

Seeing as how he's a transformer, half these SJW institutions would hire the they/them in a heartbeat.

Will be embarassing if they go after him and he turns them down. Cincy vs LSU. If word gets out they are targeting Fickell you can be sure discussions are pretty far advanced.

He should be but I don’t think he has interest in coming to the south

Plus they will get more exposure in what is left of the Big 12.

Seems like a Midwest guy, and there'll be a couple of Midwest openings after this season.

I wonder how far they are along in their search. It would stand to reason that they have someone already in mind if they have fired the coach and keeping him until the end of the season.

A candidate? Absolutely. He doesn’t have any interest though. Insider said he’s already turned LSU down.

He's not interested and initial conversations with James Franklin were not great. Per questionable sauces not to be named.
