If only there were rankings to help us understand the answer to this question

As far as Ole Miss and UK are concerned, yes LSU is a team each has beaten.

Since we are playing 3 teams, all trying to get into the CFP, I would say that yes, LSU is the team to beat...for those 3 teams...

I think that what you are trying to ask is is LSU playing the best ball right now. Perhaps. A part of that perception is that their last two games have been against a Taylor-less MSU and a bad AU team. But that doesn't equate to being "the team to beat in the SEC" though.

At the moment LSU and Alabama is the team to beat for one another - one is going to almost slam the door shut on their playoff plans this week.

Sure... I mean the goal is to beat every team in the SEC but yeah we did that.

I love LSU but Idont think they can win all 4 of their remaining games. To maintain that emotional level for 4 weeks will be almost impossible.Im going by this years up and down college FB scores.

LSU has been "Weeks-less", "Green-less", and "Spears-less". So what if Taylor was out. LSU has been without those valuable players in games. Does that count for or against them??
Auburn might be bad, but not horrible. They did beat Georgia.

I see what you did there

LSU is one loss away from being in deep shite and looking at the frigging Citrus Bowl or Outback Bowl as a springboard to build momentum for a 2027 season to remember, so I •••EDITED upvote.

Not right now.
Eyeball test says Georgia and Kentucky.

Rankings aren't a predictive measure, they're a resume based one. Hope this helps

Considering that UK and UGA are each 5-1 while LSU is 3-2, no.
