Skenes projected to be unanimous choice.

I know Auburn got MVPs in all three major sports, very impressive.

Any other top-shelf athletic programs have this kind of accomplishment? Maybe Texas?

Pitchers can and have won the MVP.

The way you threw "Cy Young Award" in there after "MVP" and "MVP" seems like really creative weak-arse cherrypicking!

Pitchers very rarely win MVP, in part because their body of work is so different compared to hitters. Cy Young is the MVP of pitchers. Not crazy to switch them up.

Meh.. I’d rather have 4 Super Bowl winning QB’s.

There’s always an insecure Bama fan who has to post something stupid.

It’s a fair comparison regarding the upper echelons of sports awards.

Would you rather be an NFL MVP or a Super Bowl winning QB?

Only 7 quarterbacks from the SEC have won the superbowl, and they came from 4 schools. Bama has 4 of them. I’ll take that over yours

Bart Starr
(Alabama)
Joe Namath
(Alabama)
Ken Stabler
(Alabama)
Eli Manning
(Ole Miss)
Peyton Manning
(Tennessee)
Matthew Stafford
(Georgia)
Jalen Hurts
(Alabama)

Hurts sure kept that bench warm and that clipboard held high his last year at Bama.

NFL MVP is individual excellence over an extended period. There have been mediocre QBs that have won a SB.

Hell, Namath won the SB without even throwing a TD in the game and Snell carried them.

His career wasn’t much better. He had more interceptions than touchdowns. He was just flashy and iconic so he impacted the game. He was a low production version of Allen Iverson.

You would be hard pressed to find an NFL MVP that wasn’t excellent

No, it’s not. Just a desperate attempt from a sad Bama fan trying to keep up. Having MVPs/Cy Young awards across the three main men’s sports is more impressive than having a QB on teams who happened to win in one sport.

Side note, Trent Dilfer is a Super Bowl winning quarterback, does that make him a great player?

It’s a fair observation but on the flip side there are QB’s who have won the MVP award but never a Super Bowl. Marino is one.

Super Bowl teams have good or if not great QB’s. They become legends.

NFL mvp’s like rich Gannon and May Ryan and Dilfer will fade into thin air and never be remembered because of that award.

Very short list. Auburn, UCLA, Michigan State and Texas.

Auburn produced Charles Barkley (NBA MVP), Josh Donaldson (MLB MVP), and Cam Newton (NFL MVP).

Michigan State produced Magic Johnson (NBA MVP), Steve Garvey (MLB MVP), and Earl Morrall (NFL MVP).

Texas produced Roger Clemens (MLB MVP, All Star Game MVP, 7x Cy Young), Kevin Durant (NBA MVP), and Earl Campbell (NFL MVP).

UCLA produced Bill Walton (NBA MVP), Jackie Robinson (MLB MVP), and Bob Waterfield (NFL MVP).

So to answer the OP's question, no. Texas (thanks a lot to Roger Clemens) already beat you to it.

Did they invent a time machine in Baton Rouge? Texas finalized this 11 years ago.

All kidding aside, would anyone here be brave enough to get into a time machine invented by scientists at LSU?

Does LSU not have any position players that could win the MVP? Or are all LSU players that are in MLB pitchers?

With the Pennington Biomedical Research Center and two health campuses, LSU is a leader in biomedical science, with studies on obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease.

They are researching our country's biggest problem. How to deal with your fat arse wife.
