That's a nice resume Mizzou dude.
But, no.
They have a Super Bowl and another NFL team who is one of the current favorites, World Series from 2 different teams in the last decade and a Stanley Cup.
Only Texas and Florida can match that and they are way, way bigger.

Kansas City isn’t the favorite for shite if their defense can’t get off the field.
And definitely not if Mahomes doesn’t recover fast from this foot thing

There’s a vast world outside of the swamp.

Funny thing, I’ve lived in Louisiana my whole life and don’t think I’ve been in an actual swamp once.

Another all-time Atlanta moment - I woke up the day after the game to the first charge for my 2020 season tickets on my credit card along with the boilerplate "2020 Season Tickets - Spring Training just months away!" email in my box.
You can't even make this shite up.

Went on my first swamp tour earlier this year actually. Pretty sure our tour guide was the real life inspiration for Lucky from King of the Hill

I did an airboat tour on the Miami River in the Everglades before the Orange Bowl and it was fun as shite.

His brother in law, Bill Laurie, was equally bad. Neglected the Blues by trying to bring the Vancouver Grizzlies to STL. That family has no business being in the sports business.

We'd done one a few years farther north and it was fun, but this was amazing. We literally stopped counting Gators we saw so many.

Baby gators are actually like the coolest thing.
Holding them is one of my favorite animal experiences for sure. They just have this way of acting that makes them seem so interesting.

Agree - I feel that way about almost all of those baby creatures that grow up into things you can't get within 20 feet of.

Auburn fan, and I said that Alabama would hold their own given that there are no real pro teams. Not that it's the best state. Hank Aaron, Bo Jackson, Mayes, Paige etc. Arkansas holds its own with coaches. I'm sure Louisiana has plenty of claims to fame too.

not really. We don’t have a pro baseball team. Our pro football team is good right now, but hasn’t always been. Our pro basketball is looking up but no one thinks of the New Orleans pelicans as a powerhouse franchise.
I love LSU, but we can’t carry the whole state when we don’t even have the most championships in the SEC

OK one state at a time.
Texas? Louisiana has absolutely owned the state this year.
LSU beats Texas at home, Saint's beat both NFL teams. Owned
Tennesee? Vandy baseball and what else? zilch
Missouri? So much for the Cardinals, but college sports wise, they are warmed over shite in just about everything.
tChiefs are bad arse though.
Florida? The entire state sucks. Their only bright spot is UF hanging with LSU for 3 quarters.
Georgia? The football team is pretty much the laughingstock of college football right now. They lose at home to the second best team in South Carolina? The Falcons suck, as do the Hawks. Nothing to see here for sure. lol
