you pigs are getting as bad as WRT. AS OF RIGHT NOW yes I think JL is better than Mallet and Snead. he throws the ball very well and has the ability to make you pay if you do not hold your lanes on the rush. He made some very heads up plays while under pressure and hurt LSU for being to aggressive early in the game. Which btw is why I think we got very vanilla on D until halftime.

Snead and Mallet both are great pocket passers but lack the mobility JL has and have shown that pressure can effect them. Memphis had Snead confused for most of the game.

JL won me over this weekend because of his ability to make plays with his arm and legs and not forcing the issue when it was not there. To many times a coach will put an athlete at QB and hope is ability to run will out perform his lack of passing threat, it is not that way with JL. He reminds me of Steve Young. I know that is high praise but I think it is deserving.

Ok, if how they played against LSU is the measuring stick, then somebody owes Casey Dick a damn Heisman.

Casey Dick was 2-2 vs. LSU

I don't really fear LSU's Defense anymore. We are averaging like 36 points PPG against them the past 3 seasons.

I saw plenty of Mallett while he was at Michigan, can't see why anyone would deny he is talented.

Ever been to Hogville? They still believe they would be NC in '06 if they had not lost to LSU and Florida. Of course they forget about being humiliated by USC.
Locker was Pac 12 Freshman of the year. He was drafted by the Angels.
Locker,Snead, and Mallett are very good pro prospects. Time will tell who will be the best.

You don't think a 12-1 SEC team would be in the title game? If not for a blown assignment on a kickoff return and "the fish flop", we would have been in the NC game that year. No doubt.

No,USC was clearly a better team. If LSU had not lost 5 games last yr,Tigers would have played for NC. Public outrage would never allow Arky to be crowned NC.
Ya'll were not even a top 10 team. Ask Wisconsin!

I would have loved to play USC when we were rolling. We may not have won, but it would have been closer.

And there's a big difference between losing 5 games and blowing 2 routine plays. Our players gave up after Fish flopped.

I believe we would have won 12 straight games that year. The longest Streak anybody else had.

Snead and Mallett are light years ahead of Locker when it comes to throwing the ball, reading a defense, and being accurate. What you saw from Locker Saturday came because well even if you take a medicore QB and you give him all day in pocket, then you let the DB's play off the receivers you will turn that medicore QB into a great one.

Locker was able to scramble out of pocket and make very accurate throws while on the move.He is an excellent athlete with all the tools to play in NFL. I haven't seen any of them play enough to know if one is a lot better than the other.
If you watch the replay, you will see Locker rarely had time to set his feet and throw down field. Talk to me after this season is over. We will know more then.

Can we put this debate to bed now?

Locker > Snead or Mallet.
