This is proof for Locker's case:

Locker vs. USC Defense (which has given up a total of only 34 points this year through 3 games):

And if that doesn't convince you, check out his freshmen video:

Can we put this debate to bed now?

Locker > Snead or Mallet.
He forgot Husky Stadium, it's louder than most on that list.
All of you are missing the obvious conclusion to this discussion...

JAKE LOCKER >>> Harris or Jefferson or Pryor or Tebow.

Not even close.
Idaho appeared to actually have a decent offense.

Veteran QB, veteran offensive line (including an NFL draft pick at guard) and what looked like a pretty good TE and WR's.

Unfortunately, it could also be that our pass defense is horrible, they sure looked slow to react to the ball in the air and it seemed like Idaho's RB was ALWAYS open out of the backfield.

Some fans are saying that Holt played a vanilla defense today, I guess we will see next week whether or not we play decent or get killed by USC.

By the way, Jake Locker was 17 of 25 for 252 passing yards, 3 TD's and 0 interceptions.

Trent Dilfer said on Brock Huard's ESPN radio show that Locker might be the best pro QB prospect in the country.
Locker is a better athlete than Snead and Mallett COMBINED. Is he a better passer? I don't know, haven't seen Snead or Mallett play yet.

Two years of learning under Coach Sarkisian = first round draft pick in 2011, in my opinion.

Here is a video clip of the loudest game ESPN has ever measured (#12 Nebraska AT #2 Washington):

After the $300 million dollar renovation next year it will be even more amazing.
OG - Nick Rowland
RB - Jordon James
CB - Demetrius Wright
DB - Joshua Shaw
RB - Deontae Cooper
MLB - Victor Burnett
OT - Cody Innes

And a lot of other kids. Different reports say there was between 20 and 50 recruits at the game.
That scared the hell out of me for Nate Williams health, I'm glad he is okay (and your QB, a stud by the way).

A very similar hit in 1999 paralyzed our DB Curtis Williams (no relation to Nate... that I know of), and he died from it not that long after.

We tried to tell you all it gets loud in HS. ESPN recorded it at 132.something decibels for the night game against Nebraska in 1992.

Not that loud these days, but is still capable of being one of the louder stadiums in the country when the fans are into it.

OP was probably on the wrong side of the stadium...

Husky Stadium has a great tailgating tradition, wth were you?

I don't think very many people, in any fan base, would go as low as to make fun of Katrina like that.

Those two are definitely a VERY small minority.

Record it on tivo/dvr/vhs and watch it when you get home or the next morning. I HATE radio. If I can't go to the game or watch it on tv, I record it and insulate myself from the news so I can watch the recording and still be surprised!
WASHINGTON - 28
LSU - 27

SEC fans heads explode across the country.
Brand new field turf was installed this spring. They also returned the endzones to gold (like it was in the Don James era).
"I won't harbor any ill-will toward UW fans who are excited about Locker. I just think there either needs to be:

A)A more realistic approach to the game; one in which Locker and the planets don't align to produce an amazing final score.

B)More talk about the X's & O's. While everyone's talking up Locker, no one's mentioning how UW's defense will fare against LSU's offense."

I hope for a miracle, which is what it will take to beat LSU. Short of a the stars aligning enough for an upset, I hope our dawgs stay competitive throughout the whole game. This is something we haven't seen in the TW era.

Getting beat solidly is the most likely outcome. Getting blown out and run off the field is my worst nightmare.

I have hopes and dreams that our Dawgs will shock the world, but hopes and dreams are not based in reality. Never say never... though.
Locker ran a 4.43 in the SPARQ electronic forty.
"watch it again, the film is sped up significantly as to make locker appear faster than he really is. not to mention most of the film is against OSU & Syracuse..."

LOL, the video is NOT sped up at all. At the end of spring Sark brought in the Nike S.P.A.R.Q crew and they electronically timed Jake Locker at 4.4 seconds in the forty yard dash.

This is OFFICIAL, not just fans blowing smoke up each others bums.
