Is less than 10 regular season wins a disappointment for VOLS?

Favored in 10 out of 12 games. 1 pick em game (UGA), 1 game as an underdog (Bama).
Vegas is saying VOLS should go 10-2 or 11-1. Would a 9-3 season be the beginning of trouble for Butch?

Lot of similarities between Arkansas and Tennessee here on tRant.

He has shite the bed in years 1 and 2 and put himself in to a situation where he can't overachieve unless he goes undefeated in year 3. I don't like the spot he's in.

well, you guys will drop 2 of these three between oklahoma, georgia, and bama. arkansas is no slouch this year and you guys always seem to have trouble with florida. and the ole ball coach might catch you guys sleeping. i can see yall at 8-4 tbh.

9 wins would be a good season for the Vols.

I think he's a total fraud as a coach but if by some miracle he wins 9 games, he'll get a huge raise and extention.

9-3 would mean we lost at least one game we shouldn't and didn't beat anybody we weren't supposed to.

East titles are worthless if you don't win the SECCG.

To answer your question, I don't think you have the depth to do better than 8-4. That's still an improvement for UTk but that's three sub par seasons for Butch.

Correct. I am thinking losses to Arky, Florida, Bama and Mizzou. UGA and OU could go either way. Honestly 6-7 wins wouldn't shock me with what we've seen from Butch and Co. on game days.
