Guys have been burning LSU DBs All season. Just because he is the latest one to do it doesn’t mean he is the fastest ever.

Some guys just look faster than others.
Plumlee looks fast and is fast.
That white qb Arkansas had (Matt Jones???) looked like he was barely running, but next thing you know, he was 50 yards downfield.
I think it is because Plumlee’s strides are so much shorter.

He looked like he was jogging along until you realized that SEC caliber DBs were twenty yards behind him.
Matt Jones had freakish athletic ability. With today's offenses he'd be a Heisman trophy candidate. Instead he had Houston Nutt, who did install a shotgun read/triple option attack... that we ran maybe three times a game.

Back when I followed recruiting really close there was a white qb from out west named Nic Costa that signed with Arizona and he ran a legit 4.22. He’s the fastest I can remember for any white dude.

I thought LSU got that fixed from last year. After Tua hobbled for 50 yards and a touchdown like a tumbleweed in the desert, their d is still vulnerable. The offense though? Coach O puts the O in offense. Or probably coach Joe.
